I haven't stood still long enough in the cold to have any photos taken with the hat ... brrrrrrrrr .... brrrrrrrrr in a good way. More snow on its way. Nothing "serious" yet, but it's real snow - sticking to the ground - enough for the dogs to really enjoy.

..........

Three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, live in a house together.

One night the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?"

The 94-year-old yells back, "I don't know. I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses "Was I going up the stairs or down?"

The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful, knock on wood."

She then yells, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."

Coldest day yet so far this year. Highest temp was 15 degrees Fahrenheit. This morning when I got up it was five above with a wind-chill of fifteen below. No relief in sight for the next couple of days. (No snow in sight either, damnit, except maybe a slight flurry or two.)

Those Russian hats, btw, are called shepkas. I have one made of sable fur (a gift long ago; I certainly couldn't afford to buy one.)

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards. One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me .. I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is."

Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"

ehBeth, You're just too much...... Very Happy

Three military retirees......each with a hearing loss, took a walk together one fine March day.
One remarked, "Windy isn't it?"
"No." the second man replied, "It's Thursday!"
The third man chimed in, "So am I, Let's go have a beer."

Shocked Very Happy

Funny!

A dusting of snow we had- now we had a short thunderstorm with snow, sleet and now rain.
Changing shapka to umbrella.

Merry Andrew,
I really wish there were icy days here. I miss the frozen lakes where we can go skating. An ice rink is no substitute.

Bambi, a blonde in her fourth year as a UCLA
freshman, sat in her U.S. government class. The
professor asked Bambi if she knew what Roe vs. Wade
was about.
Bambi pondered the question then finally said, "That
was the decision George Washington had to make before
he crossed the Delaware."

I'm A Senior Citizen

I am a senior citizen...

- I'm the life of the party... even when it lasts 'till 8pm.

- I'm very good at opening childproof caps with a hammer.

- I'm usually interested in going home before I get to where I'm going.

- I'm good on a trip for at least an hour without my aspirin, antacid...

- I'm the first one to find the bathroom wherever I go.

- I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.

- I'm smiling all the time because I can't hear a word you're saying.

- I'm very good at telling stories...over and over and over and over.

- I'm aware that other people's grandchildren are not as bright as mine.

- I'm so cared for: long-term care, eye care, private care, dental care.

- I'm not grouchy, I just don't like traffic, waiting, children, politicians...

- I'm positive I did housework correctly before the Internet.

- I'm sure everything I can't find is in a secure place.

- I'm wrinkled, saggy and lumpy, and that's just my left leg.

- I'm having trouble remembering simple words like... uh...

- I'm realizing that aging is not for sissies.

- I'm walking more (to the bathroom) and enjoying it less.

- I'm sure they are making adults much younger these days.

- I'm in the *initial* state of my golden years: SS, CD's, IRA's, AARP.

- I'm wondering, if you're only as old as you feel, how could I be alive at 150?

- I'm anti-everything now: anti-fat, anti-smoke, anti-noise, anti-inflammatory.

- I'm a walking storeroom of facts... I've just lost the key to the storeroom.

- I'm a Senior Citizen and I think I am having the time of my life... Aren't I?
