May a bevy of fire-breathing dragons descend upon all your piles of snow.

If that doesn't work, we'll send in the snow busters!

If all else fails, take a lesson from Bear and just get drunk and deal with it.

@Region Philbis,
You probably don't want to look at your extended forecast.

@Region Philbis,
They're supposed to be giving us 13 to 18" with 20-30mph winds by tomorrow afternoon. Oh, joy of joys.

We've got an ice storm coming. I'm joyous about big snowstorms but ice storms are evil. Not just the obvious slippy-slidiness but major damage to trees (I like trees) and a tendency to down powerlines (I like power).

We're in the deep freeze today. It is supposed to warm up tomorrow, but then it's supposed to start snowing at noon. It's supposed to be a hell of a big storm, too.

@Setanta,
Ach du lieber.

Gahh. And all of that.

I am going to my gym today because I might actually be able to navigate the streets on foot without landing on my keister. Tomorrow will probably not be like that.

We have a vinyl white picket fence. A few weeks ago, while shoveling, I knocked one of the little picket caps off and into the snow. Now, it does not require any adhesive or anything to put it back. That's no problem. The real issue is that the cap is now buried under another 2 feet or so, maybe 3. We will find it in July.

I think.

yup - that's the one headed our way

I like this part of the storm watch notice

This storm has the potential to create near-paralyzing conditions.

anyone know where my gaiters are? the only thing I remember is that they're red (in case I end up upside down in a snowbank - yup, that's why I picked red gaiters)

I was out in the backyard with the little dogs on Saturday night. It wasn't til the next morning that I realized that I'd been looking over the fence (tall, over the bylaw tall, fence) - and could put my hand on the roof of the garage/shed. That's just wrong.
