@George,
78' it was? We were let out early at Gilette because of the first storm. I took my car to a parking garage and left it for the duration of the blizzard. I had a little basement apartment I kept down in Hull for weekends and summer. I lost most of my stuff due to high tide flooding.

That ws one hell of a blizzard!

@Sglass,
A basement apartment in Hull? Oof! Good thing it wasn't your primary place.

@George,
My landlord and his wife were rescued by the coast guard that took them off their roof on Nantasket Aveune. All of our possessions were bobbing in th water like apples.

Glad I was high and dry on Grove Street on Beacon Hill.

The weather radar for the mid-Atlantic appears to show two storms. One is east of Charlottesville; more along the coast and moving into DC. The second is NW of us and heading towards New England. 12" predicted for NYC tonight and into Wednesday.
Nothing much here but some rural schools closed early. School buses, back roads and sleet is a bad combination.
Yall take care.

@Region Philbis,
I did very little today.

uncovered the woodpile and swept a path.

it's so cold, I dint need a shovel.

swish swish swish. had a path to the well.

(actually, it took a few more swishes than that...)

@Region Philbis,
Hey, Region, we can do dentistry here on A2K!
Tie a string around the affected tooth. Tie the other end around a heavy object. Drop the heavy object out of a 2nd story window.
Here in redneck country, where we live in mobile homes, we tie the string to the tail of a cow and then slap it on the butt. But you don't have cows in Boston.
