Fresh beeswax on the boots.
Snow shovels ready.
Tanks filled.
Plenty of windshield wiper fluid.

5-9" downtown.

Snow day for me now means double work....
Happy snow day, littlek!
We got a dusting, nothing dramatic.
working from today -- thank you remote access program
Not a bad commute this morning. Lotta folks must have stayed home.
The usual set of knuckleheads provided entertainment: those who drive
as if they're in a white-out in Winnipeg and those who drive as if they're
on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
I have a feeling the trip home is gonna be a bear.
It's purty..... My assessment of the snow (I haven't even been out yet!) is that it is fairly light and dry. It's not really sticking well to the trees though that may have more to do with wind. I am noticing that up in the trees near squirrel roosting sites the tree trunk snow is yellow-brown - nasty squirrels. They're going to have to re-mark their territories.
It's wetter than it looks.
[Makes snowball. Waits for 'K...]

It is wetter than I'd guessed! <ducks snowball>
