Less than half of my dep't came into work, and maybe only about 1/4 of the people who work on our floor. Fences around home are covered in white stuff.

Seems kind of silly that we had the day off. But, it was pretty slick in places and there was more snow North of the city.

I cruised through Hahvard Yahd on my way back from the bookstore. I snapped these shots (all of the same spot, it was very pretty)

Those are cool pictures. I didn't get out of bed until after 2pm today. How much did we end up getting?

Around here no more than 8 inches, probably more like 6.

Slappy, I'll answer your question here instead of that new guy's thread. I'm doing well. You had the day off too, eh?

Wow, I think the guy that lives below me may have shoveled my part of the driveway, unless it melted? I didn't stay at my house last night, and when I got home this afternoon it was 100% clear.

Fabulous tree pruning... terrific photos. (What is that ugly light pole thing?)

That's a good bonus! I didn't have to shovel the lengthy walkway to our apartment at all. All I did was shovel out my car this afternoon so I won't have to do it tomorrow. The pathway of ours is to our house but runs between two other houses. We have always been the ones to shovel it, but recently, one of the neighbors has started chipping in. Makes sense, they all use it too.

It's an ugly light pole. Must be a blinking light.

Of course the tree pruning is fabulous, it IS Hahvard, after all. Actually, Osso, you'd love the campus. They've been maintaining some old American Elms for decades. The plantings are wonderful.

The ugly light pole? In the last shot? It is a flashing yellow/red traffic light.

Oy. (I'm talking about the pole that angles off at whatever degree, towards the top.)

Harvard, home of some key landscape architects, the campus better be pruned well. But, hey, it's a delight to see. Not that I don't like regular old forests. I'm talking relative to miles of butchered street trees. Oh, don't get me started.

You win a friggin' shovel, homey. More snow on the way. Or are my sources giving me bad information?

Wednesday is going to be sunny in Boston with a high near 30. Sounds like a nice day for the beach.

This campus' design folks should/could do better, whether modern or 'vintage'. Yaaaaaak. Maybe they got a deal..

When I got home from work, my sidewalk and driveway were clear!
The Lovely Bride and Clive made my day.

The trees along Rt. 3 were still frosted in white this morning.
Absolutely gorgeous.
