This little haven is a place where we can temporarily throw off the demands of 'Maturity' let our stiff upper lips... slip and sag, and have a good whine.
this is a tiny little preserve of infantilism where we can sit awhile on the pity potty, or moan and gnash our teeth, blame others, tantrum and sulk.

It's ok to be a baby here, in fact No ADULT behavior is allowed.

I have had a non-stop stream of visitors for the last week who required entertaining so we didn't do our usual of going to the beach even though it was hot hot hot (90s) and now all the visitors are gone and it's 64!!!

I haven't been invited to a socially acceptable affair in a long time.
I've never ridden in a limousine.
I had plans to visit a friend at the beach over the 4th of July, but the plans have been canceled now.

Why is it that all other rock n roll gets less an' less relevant, an' nostalgia is the only appeal, but i hear that line, and can only think how true that is . . .
