wouldn't be the worst thing i can imagine. it might do the country good to have a president with a little slack in the ol' personality department for a change. it's been pretty damn uptight 'round here.

how r ya lash ?

sittin' down ? i voted for ahnoldt this time. Shocked

It's Rudy time

Kicky - there are quite a few Giuliani biographies out there. The hamburgers had a couple out from the library a while ago, and then I made a point of reading at least one more - trying to get something to balance the pro/con side. I'd suggest you pull a couple from the library yourself. Worth the effort. I'm not sure whether his political tactics or personal life are more mmmmmm entertaining.

Too bad the guy didn't go national 30 years ago - he coulda been a Lyndon Johnson - in the sense of knowing where the political bodies are buried.

Clinton sort of changed the morality code for the Oval office.

And Rudy will attract lots of independants and Democrats.

We won't need the Asshole Right.

Can't be true; if Bush can get elected twice, ole Gully has a chance. It's the American electorate that's not too bright.

Rox--

Playing to the stereotype, I guess, but I think you make a mistake not to support him. He'd support you.

Is that your explanation for the recent election results?

Giuliani's problem is he's a social moderate. The right wing religious group that make up the base of the Republican will not vote for him in the primaries as they will have social conservatives running against him. It's difficult to win in the Republican party without the support of the evangelical base.
