Set - Anybody who refers to the "theft of the 2000 election" has already left reality and fact in the dust.

Yes, i know your tedious contentions about the Florida scam, you clogged my pm account with them in the past. None of which alters your uncalled-for nastiness to EB, who, as a Tejas resident, has far more experience of the stunted Shrub than you and i.

Re: Bush Bashing....
Has all of the Afghanistan/Iraq/Education/Environment/Haiti/Little guy/Fair and open media/ National Parks/gay/North Korea/Iran/Syria/Cuba bashing begun to bother you at all?

I try to let it roll off my shoulders, but the never ending barrage of pure hatred sometimes gets to me. I was brought up to respect others, whether I agreed with their beliefs and rights to life or not. I guess that comes from the lack of Military/Boy Scouts upbringing.

What are your thoughts?

I would think you have an odd way of showing respect for those you are disagreeing with. Perhaps you should start a different thread about that.

(I guess you use the word "tedious" to mean "stuff I don't like".)

My tedious contentions are simply pointers to the available facts. My tedious contentions were backed up with citations of source documents including the text of FL's election laws, and were further backed up by EVERY recount performed by the media and other groups, many of whom were trying to prove that Gore won and simply had to concede that the most votes were cast for Bush.

Yours amount to your personal ranting that the election was stolen, backed up by nothing but your insults and the support of lots of other sore losers who refuse to accept reality and defeat gracefully and clearly aren't big fans of the democratic process when it doesn't go their way.

Yeah, yours are much better than mine. Rolling Eyes

No ranting Scrat, i only posted a single comment. You're the one (as usual) who is ranting. Like a dim-witted dog bully-ragging a stuffed toy, you just can't let it go.

Set's quote, "Like a dim-witted dog bully-ragging a stuffed toy, you just can't let it go." That's exactly the reason why I no longer respond directly to scr*t.

From atop a high horse: "Yeah, I don't talk to that beastly, bow-legged, bastard either because of all his namecalling."

Scrat, you spend way too much time defending yourself. Doesn't that say anything to you at all?

Bashing is a really good way to avoid pinning yourself down to any issues. Shouldn't all the bashing going on be a big WARNING sign for all of us, regardless of which side is more dastardly and evil?

What's getting lost in the process?

Our freedom, maybe?

We're already in one big nasty schism at this point. Check your history. The people who suffer the most from schisms are all the poor slobs caught in the middle.

As for backing up opinions with facts, and the bickering that ensued over it, all I can say is, "Jesus Wept" - Clive Barker.

I think you are trying to pad your post count, Try summing up your points into one manageable post so I don't have to keep scrolling so much, please.
