How do you express it so wildly?

It was REAL voice...

Okay. So when you say it was a REAL voice, you mean it wasn't a real voice, then. Right??

So not only is rex actively renouncing known reality, now he hears voices too.

Someone call the little white men in the little white coats, to come to take him awwwwway.

Defining evil in those terms means you must first define "God", then go on to define what His "will and purpose" is before you finally say evil is the opposite. Very Happy

Yeah, and lets face it people have enough fun trying to do just that.

So there's this rich Doctor driving down a long lonely road one day, when his Merceds gets a flat tire right in front of a creepy insane asylum out in the woods. The Dr. is a bit nervous with the asylum so close, but he starts fixing his tire anyway.

Pretty soon one of the inmates wanders by the gate and starts watching him through the bars.

The Dr. keeps an eye on the inmate while he takes the tire off and puts the four lug nuts in the hub cap, but even though the inmate is just watching quietly, Doc gets un-nerved and accidentally steps on the hub cap, and spills all the lug nuts into the sewer grate, where they immediately sink out of reach.

The Dr. is appaled. How's he going to fix it now? He looks back and forth from the sewer to the tire, and shakes his head. Pretty soon, the inmate says, "hey buddy, take one lug nut from each of the other tires and use them to fix the remaining tire". The Dr. is shocked, "That's brilliant, what are you doing in an insane asylum?". The inmate says, "Come on buddy, I'm in here because I'm crazy, not stupid".

I am neither crazy or stupid...

I am a child of God in a play-pen called Earth.

So, was it a real for real voice you heard? Like, did you hear it with your ears?

Does he speak English?

What did it sound like?

Come on, man. . . we're talking about the freakin' Voice of God, here. I have to know.

It was in my head I heard it. I was thinking about something else when it was spoken to me.

It was a deep but soft and comforting voice.

God talks to us in both words and pictures. I have only heard the words of God once.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Comment:
Have you ever heard another voice over your own thoughts?

Well it is like trying to listen to someone while being distracted.

Had I not heard it over my own thoughts it might have scared me. But because I had to think back to realize I had been spoken to it was not as frightening.

I can still remember the sound of his voice.

Re 14:2
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

Comment:
There was no thunder or harpers... Only warmth and softness, like a whisper.

Thanks. That clears up a lot.

(Now, don't take this the wrong way. I'm not trying to be rude, or anything like that.)

How did you KNOW it was God's voice?

Did you ever think that maybe it was your own mind, or, you know... satan?

I know that you are quite sure, now. I just wonder how long it took you to be sure. I wonder what thoughts went through your head.

Nice recovery Wink I can see why you would want to "make that understood just in case". Unfortunately for you, your posts speak for themselves, and sane people aren't impressed when a crazy person pronounces himself sane.

(I like you anyway, even though it's pretty clear that you're crazy)

It was the content of the message and the fact that it was spoken in my mind. Can you hear your thoughts? Well neither can I. But I heard this.

Why would satan tell me to "be a minister"?

Only the true God would call someone to the ministry of Christ Jesus.

I am not sure that I would have even phrased it that way or used the word "minister"...

I admit that it was a time in my life when I was considering my place in the word of God but "minister" was not the word that was used in the faith I was involved with.

They used the words disciple, apostle, preacher, even ambassador but not often, minister.

This had the signs of something coming from outside of my own conscious thought patterns and vocabulary.

I like you too Ros, you would think Jesus was crazy too so it is a matter of opinion.

You are part of the minority.
