Hi, does ANYONE know how to get rid of dark circles under your eyes.
I am 18, and every time i get less than 10 hours sleep a night, the next morning my eyes are all tired. Most of the time its just black circles under my eyes, quite drawn looking, but other times they are all puffy and swolen.
I dont always feel tired when i get them, but its making me really obsessive about my sleep.
most eye creams seem to be used for the signs of ageing- they dont really help.
I wish i knew as I have the same problem.
I use a make up concealer called Touch Eclait by Yves Saint Laurent which is quite good to cover them up.Its about £21.
yeah, i use a conealer, and foundation, its just you can still see their outlines cant you? god its so annoying!
anyone else know?
How's your overall health?
Drinking enough water?
Exercise?
Smoking?
Drinking?
Might just be that you take after your mother or father, genetics. Do they have bags?
I thought you were 19. Didn't you say that somewhere?
Dumb Question? What position do you sleep? Face down...like I do?
Well...you get more of a bag underneath the eyes early in the morning because of all the fluid that accumulates in that area. If I have a sinus infection...I can get up in the mornings with my eyes literally swelled shut because of the amount of fluid....its awful.
Try to use an eyeliner on them puppies...lmao it don't work....
Sadly, a lot has to do with genetics. If the skin under your eyes is thin, the bags appear.

Lettuce leaves have been said to reduce the blackness under the
eyes. Have you considered sunglasses?

Matgirl, we are as one, I simply cannot live without Touche Eclait...
But I never know how to pronounce it! I just point to it and go "I'll have one of them". I have tried the Clinique one - rubbish, it's cheaper but you get less.
Ruth bought me the Dior 'skinflash' which is really good, as good as Yves St laurent - and it comes in other shades.

I believe its pronounced Toosh Ekley.
Years back my friend at college pronounced what should be eeev san lawran as Ives st laurrent. We giggle to this very day.
Buuger!
I call it 'toocher eklat'
what about:
Heeermeeez
eeevs rotcher
dolke and cabanoh
paarfumb de toilet
I have really deep set eyes and very dark circles. Very skelator.
Typically I don't bother with makeup but when I do want to conceal them I use a blue neutalizer that I buy off of a friend who is a professional makeup artist. The brand she uses is make by a company called Joe Blasco and it works really great.

Oh! that dolke and cabanoh is my favoritest!
It great on flat bread with vinegar.
Ha! You crack me up.
You do have to be careful with this stuff. My friend had to teach me how to use this stuff. I'm not much interested in makeup so I'm not very good with it (which is why I don't often wear it).
Blue neutralizer is actually kind of pink colored. Blend, blend, blend.
Everybody should have a friend who is a professional makeup artist so they wouldn't have to rely on a cosmetics counter girl who works on commission.

Well... hmmm... Something similar actually happened to me once a few years back. Mine was due to TOO much sleep. I don't know if you are always tired or not but I can tell you that when I was sleeping that much I never felt like I could get enough sleep because of how exhausted I always felt. It got so bad that a gas station attendant asked me if I was ok because I looked like I was on my death bed. Felt like it too. I told him that no matter how much sleep I got I never felt like it was enough. He suggested I try getting less sleep. Six and a half to seven hours a night instead of nine or ten. The first two or three days I did this SUCKED. I felt like I would surely die. Then all the sudden all that energy I had been missing for the last few months reappeared. Some peoples bodies just aren't made to sleep for that long.
You might want to sleep on 2 pillows to forgo the puffiness, and in
the morning: use a cold eye mask for a few minutes.
As for the dark circles: you probably have very thin skin around your
eyes and there is hardly anything you can do. Chamomile eye creams
should help somewhat, I don't know though.
My daughter was asked (in a posh department store she was working in)for:
Annie Kabuki
which meant - Issey Miake
