These here dragons dont appear to be that much of a problem.

Water dragon.

Maybe these are what the first dragon hunters practiced on.

Set, the breath mints come with a sling shot. No way I'm gonna get near one of those nasty creatures. I only socialize with the sweet, pretty ones.

Setanta is obviously a graduate of the St. George Academy and accustomed to dealing with spawn-of-Satan western dragons who hoard gold, ravish virgins and appropriate farm animals.

I doubt that his comments could apply either to Oriental Dragons or to off-world dragons.

Probably a shadow dragon (i know of no "real" black dragons) in league with an evil cleric . . . Shaar, the goddess of darkness, is reputed to be in league with shadow dragons . . .

The only gold dragon i've ever met was a pretty decent sort, and helped me out of a jam. I've never fought one, so you'd have to ask someone else.

Tell me Set, is Shaar, the Goddess of Darkness an ancestor of Cher, the Goddess of Glitter?

R.A. MacAvoy mentions a Black Dragon of philosophic bend--Oriental, of course.

Where does she mention that, Noddy. Her Book of Kells was top level fantasy.

Roger--

Two books: Tea with the Black Dragon and Twisting the Rope

Both are available from Amazon--and when I checked that, I found a new book of hers that I haven't read yet.

Why would oriental dragons be different from occidental?

Western dragons are heavily influenced by Christianity and are mindless stand-ins for Satan.

Oriental dragons personify wisdom.

I find the Oriental variety much more congenial.

Horsie poop . . . that's typical of the old hippie obsession with all things eastern, and contempt for all things western.

Dragons are not to be trusted. I'm not surprised to hear that a shadow dragon attempted to pass herself off as a "black" dragon--probably pretended to be man's best friend. You just can't trust 'em.

Nasty critters . . .

Speaking of Dys, I gather he needs a damn fine spanking, too.
