The garden is horrible and scary
What they're growing there makes me quite wary.
Don't look like tomatoes,
And it sure ain't potatoes,

The garden is horrible and scary
But when you get through to the berries
The thorns and the prickers will scratch
So you wear gloves to pick in the patch
Then bake a shortcake topped with strwberries.

And it sure ain't potatoes,
They're rough, and they smell, and they're hairy.

Madison Square Garden's a fright.
Best viewed in low levels of light,
Or perhaps from afar,
From the back of a car,
Thanks, Brit. We'll soon get it right.

My Peace Lily's rusting away
Needs lime if you want it to stay.
Get yourself a new pot,
Soil, and tamp it a lot,
Low moisture, they love it that way.
I love to just sit in my bower,
The Peace lily IS my sweet flower...

I love just to sit in my bower,
the Peace Lily is my sweet flower.
I pot it and pray
that the flowers will stay
but it wilts, hour after hour.

Screaming is so overrated
One just rants,
then forgets what one's stated
To whisper, while near
to friend or loved one's ear
is far nicer, and leave's one less hated
I think I'll all day just be silly,

Feeling free
Near the tree
Where I once skinned my knee
Makes me scared AND silly-
No, Really!

There once was a teacher named Jan
Who vacationed in Tokyo, Japan
She went to have sushi
And screamed, oh my, did she
To see fresh sushi still move in the pan.

Instead of nationalism my girl
Why not become a citizen of the world?
An inhabitant of the Universe
Or space, that's even more diverse

Have you ever felt a light swoon,
While gazing aloft at the moon?
At the milkiest way
Where the shooting stars stray
In midsummer, between May and July
My gazing aloft at the stars
Comes after my drinking in bars

There are times I've been so embarrassed
That my skin, which is really the fairest,
turns bright orange and red
and I wish I were dead
but I grin and demure and just bare it.
