I just can't believe that it's the first day of May
It's just another day of drizzly and gray
But dance round the Maypole
As in the air the ribbons flow
We can make it a glorious day.

Ah, spring is in the air...........

(what's a Nair?)

Ah, spring is in the air
Time to get out the Nair
In US perhaps,
England winter is yet to lapse,

Too soon for their legs to go bare.

A lady tried on her bikini today,
Then she tossed it aside with dismay.

A date with him, how wonderful !!
A-flutter goes my heart
Last time I was so blunderful
This time, hooray! Fresh start
He really is a peachy guy
I like his sister too
In fact we three could make a group
There's me, and him, and you

(Sorry Gautam and readers, I could not get into a limerick from that first line, so I have strayed, how I have strayed.....Smile

A limerick's a poem from Eire
It's meaning is light, seldom dire
So when McTag with Dagmaraka clashes
He just uses his wit to jot dashes
Of clever words that will soothe her ire.

Will we never rhyme with orange
Of course. In Wales I climbed the Blorenge.
But, I didn't reach the top
My sore toe made me stop
'Cause the day before I caught it in a door hinge.

If you ever decide to climb a mountain

I knew a young lady who would never tell
That she showed me the way to her wishing well
But if you ever decide to climb a mountain
She'll sing it aloud from pub to fountain
As the echos fill valley and dell.

Yes, Mikey52, let's do the mountain:

If you ever decide to climb a mountain;
Pray at the top there is a fountain,
When you drink your fill
Look all OVER the hill,
For there may be some kind of bounty!

I knew a young lady who would never tell
That she showed me the way to her wishing well.
But she did, and that's that. Then we went to her flat
And 'there' is a story even I wont tell.

When our poems become intertwined,
I am happy I viewed the last line....

When our poems become intertwined,
I am happy I viewed the last line
If we've mixed up our verse
It's quite fun to reverse
And then everything works out just fine

(?) well, nearly Smile

I feel really quite cheerful this morning

I feel really quite cheerful this morning-
So a smile, my face, is adorning.
I ate some GREAT food, and I'm in a great mood.

The sunshine finally came back again!
It's outside we'll be, instead of in
All healthy and tanned
Ain't life just grand?
