Meanwhile, up in the attic was heard
(And you're going to think this absurd),
The mouse caught the cat
Upon which it sat
To date so far that's his third....

Its nice to turn things upside down
It quite often leads to a frown,

I have to confess
It makes quite a mess,

It makes quite a mess,
Roots red, and flowers, brown

I'll do as you command
But watch what you demand

Remotes can be baffling things
Some buttons, some batteries, and springs
The infra-red beam
To the CRT's gleam
At the push of your finger, just zings!

But can you find programmes to suit?

I went to the gym tonight, large
And I feel like a barrel of marge
My muscles all sag
And a wet paper bag
I couldn't but dent, in a charge

But I think I am getting quite fit
Xmas break? I'm over it
Pump that iron, tote that bale
Till you're sweaty and pale
Or red in the face, like a tit*

*robin readbreast, but it wouldn't rhyme

Embarrassed Sorry. I had not noticed a strict adherence to form on the thread, so I've been lax...I've gone to the way-back machine, and reviewed limerick rules, so I'll do better in the future. Smile

p.s. I can't blame Kansas...I was educated in the northeast!

But can you find programmes to suit?
Mostly, it's a fruitless pursuit

Mostly, it's a fruitless pursuit
With reality fare
Overtaking the air

But we don't know when and it gives us a
