Blucher, it is nonsense to say that the Pals act only in response to Israeli aggression. The opposite is true.
For instance, Israel pulled completely out of Gaza, leaving valuable assets. The Pals responded with thousands of rockets, etc. They quickly destroyed the greenhouses and other assets left by the Israelis.
The fence works, drastically reducing the number of suicide and other attacks on Israel.

And though Armageddon began in 1918 (see Battle of Megiddo) and continues, it will end w/ accommodation no matter what attempts at ethnic cleansing the terrorist Pal.s and Israelis may entertain. We are in WWIII now.
The Israelis are intolerant of those Pals who plan to mass murder, attempt to mass murder, and do mass murder Israelis.
The Pals are intolerant of Jews governing a part of Palestine.
I am intolerant of those folks who deny these realities.

Will you please tell us how the Israelis are able to know who "plan to mass murder, attempt to mass murder, and do mass murder Israelis?"
If you imprison a whole group of people in a democracy, it's not a democracy. Simple concept, that.
Ican, it is just terrible how those Israelis are so intolerant of suicide bombers, rocketeers, et al. They should just turn the cheek.
CI, I haven't seen any imprisoned Pals (other than those caught committing crimes, etc.). Who are they?
I guess the wall around Jerusalem is invisible to people like you, but that's to be expected.
No one in Jerusalem is forbidden to leave. Duh!!
Ofcoarse! The fences and barbed wire is to keep out the Israelis.
Israeli forces close street in East Jerusalem's Beit Hanina, no freedom of movement
07.02.08 - 16:27
Jerusalem / Maisa Abu Ghazaleh - Beit Hanina residents were horrified to find that Israeli forces had imposed barbed wire and cement blocks alongside residential buildings and cutting-off the only road to Jerusalem.
The East Jerusalem area is under increasing siege with continued home demolitions, the Wall and settlement expansion.
People were suddenly unable to reach their work, schools and medical clinics.
Lawyer Osama Sa'adi penned a letter to the Israeli Minister of Internal Security to remove the barbed wire and road blocks. They were imposed this morning by Israeli forces occupying East Jerusalem at the suburban checkpoint.
"I went to the families immediately affected and also told the Israeli official that there were no written orders presented to residents to close their road."
The Israeli response regarded "security."
From USAToday:
Cleric: Bethlehem today is a 'prison' Bethlehem is cut off from the West Bank by Israeli checkpoints and the separation wall.
By Yuri Cortez, AFP
Delivering his annual Christmas message, Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah spoke a day after the United Nations released a report on Bethlehem that described it as an isolated town with boarded up shops instead of a bustling cultural and spiritual center.
With a population of 61,000, the Bethlehem area is surrounded by checkpoints and the barrier, which is nearly complete on two sides of the town. As a result, Bethlehem is isolated from the rest of the West Bank and from Jerusalem, the U.N. report said.
"The Israeli authorities resumed the work to complete the wall, which makes Bethlehem a big prison," Sabbah said after delivering his Christmas message.
Advocate, You say freedom to move, I say BULL!

Of course, The fences and barbed wire inside Israel are used to keep out Israelis.
The fences and barbed wire are used to keep out Israelis from certain Israeli neighborhoods to minimize their chance of injury or death from would be mass murdering Pals.
However, Israelis--Jews and Arabs--can individually or in groups leave Israel and return or not as they please.
Cice, you appear to have studied under one or more disciples of Joseph Paul Goebbels. Your propaganda follows his model quite closely.
CI, it is dishonest to intentionally misquote me. I said that anyone may leave, not "move."
Israeli has a lot more need for a fence on its border than we do on our Southern border.

Oh, I get it now; all the prisons are built to keep out the citizens from being mugged and/or killed.

Not yet, but keep working on it.
Prisons are built to keep muggers and killers from mugging and killer or otherwise doing violence to the persons or property of people who don't mug, kill, etc.
There is a difference between a prison and a protective fence, however. A prison is to keep muggers, killers, etc. from leaving. A protective fence keeps muggers, killers etc. from getting at the other people who may leave via the gate any time they please.
Israel has a protective fence. Any Israeli citizen, Jew, Arab, or other can leave and return any time they choose. Those who would do violence to the persons or property of Israelis however are kept out.
That situation does not describe a prison.
Any Palestinians refused permission to leave their areas are being refused by other Palestinians or those who control them, not Israelis.

A contradiction all by itself.
As they say, good fences make good neighbors.
Who says? Who are "they?"
Men of sense often learn from their enemies. It is from their foes, not their friends, that cities learn the lesson of building high walls and ships of war . . .

Poll: Most Israelis back talks with Hamas
Perhaps the people of Israel (unlike government; I am beginning to think government never do what the citizens want) realize that in order to have eventual peace; you have to talk to your enemies. I know that Hamas says it don't recognize Israel right to exist (at least that is what I have heard and don't really have reason to doubt) but probably they would have to stick to it after having said it. In any case if they are willing to make concessions and have talk (don't know if they are); why not at least talk with them and see what those concessions might be without any pre-conditions first? At least see if they are willing to have talks with Israel. They are ones who are the leaders of the ones who commit the suicide bombs so if Israel wants headway they have to deal with those who are the leaders, not leaders most Palestinians don't have any respect for so would not listen to anyway.
