Phyllis Schlafly seems to be Ann Coulter's role model.
Quote:
She was nearly the first woman ever to attend Harvard Law School -- though it did not then admit women, Schlafly's Harvard professors found her so brilliant that they offered to make an exception for her. (She declined.) Instead, she married, raised six amazingly accomplished children and later attended law school in her 50s -- all while fighting the establishment in her free time. She is brilliant, beautiful, principled, articulate, tireless and, most important, absolutely fearless.
That Phyllis Schlafly is the mortal enemy of a movement that claims to promote women tells you all you need to know about the feminists. That most people know more about Madeleine Albright's brooch collection than Schlafly's achievements tells you all you need to know about the media
What Have Feminists Done to America's Fathers?
by Phyllis Schlafly
Posted Jun 10, 2005
On Father's Day, Americans should ponder the appalling fact that an estimated 40 percent of our nation's children are living in homes without their own father. Most of our social problems are caused by kids who grow up in homes without their own fathers: drug abuse, illicit sexual activity, unwed pregnancies, youth suicide, high school dropouts, runaways, and crime.
and now, we have Tim Russert, a "godless" media liberal, with a bestselling book that celebrates fatherhood, following up on an earlier bestselling book about his father. i ask again, what's the world coming to?

The right seems to think that any writer who posts the truth is liberal. The writer will then be swift-boated.
I find that reporters rarely slant the truth. For one thing, such reporting would normally be a firing offense. Talk to Blair, Glass, and a number of other reporters who have lost their jobs for making things up. Editorial writers are not reporters. Thus, believe Robert Novak at your own risk.

Since you've asked a couple of times now, I'm going to assume you're not merely being rhetorical. I think the key might be he doesn't talk politics in his book. Now, if he titles his next book, "Why I'm a Liberal Blowhard," you might have a point.
