Oh. I wasn't waiting for the image to download but going straight ...well, you all know I'm computer semi-literate.

Oh, yes, and what's the answer to Gargamel's question?

Gustav is saying: What do you have against me? I am handsome,
I am intelligent, always flawlessly groomed, and luck is on my side!

It would appear that my posting of the definition hit home, so--

Definition of HIPPIE

<Hippias>

hip·pie also hip·py (hp) KEY

NOUN:
pl. hip·pies
A person who opposes and rejects many of the conventional standards and customs of society, especially one who advocates extreme liberalism in sociopolitical attitudes and lifestyles.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EXTREME LIBERALISM IS INDEED THE KEY!!!

Thanks, Jane. I guess I never knew there was a cartoon duck by the name of Gustav.

I owe you one.

He was so cool that he was called a HIPPIE which means:

Of course. Peace. Peace.Peace--But the title of this thread is__

"Could you tell me something about Hippies"

I am doing that! I have heard that one is supposed to try to limit comments to the theme of the original question.

I did not know that "kase" was part of the answer!!!!

I am very much afraid that some of the posters have been led astray.

Would that be because the definition of Hippie makes so many people uncomfortable?

Well, BernardR, the original question was placed in mid May,
and it was answered by a number of a2k members -
Asherman being the best contributor.

Two months later you come along and post a short google definition about
Hippies, which practically necessitated some humorous replies.

You know BernardR, sometimes it is just utterly difficult to restrain oneself to serious matters only. I am guilty, and I do apologize for it.

No apology needed. I merely wished to try to get back to the topic as I think is recommended!

Wink

Danke fuer deine Besorgnis, Pete http://www.borge.diesal.de/board02/images/smiles/bussi.gif
