OK, a digression.

Fox is the President.
Calderón is the candidate of Fox's party.
López Obrador is the populist candidate who is head to head with Calderón.
Madrazo (third place) is the candidate of the former ruling party.
I am voting for Mercado, the Socialdemocrat candidate in 4th place.
There's another candidate, Campa, with 1% in the polls.

The US is indeed quivering.

The PAN, I know, is conservative.
Obrador is leftist/populist. What is the name of his party?
What is the PRI, then? Centrist?

Who do you think will win, fbaezer?

Darn, infrablue, I thought you were joining the game!

López Obrador is a member of PRD (Party of the Democratic Revolution) and runs for a coalition denominated Coalition for Everybody's Good.

The PRI is a typical Mexican monster. Ideologically left-of-center; practically right-of-center.

I think Brazil will win against Japan.

So, it's Osso that's going to do the streak now?

I'm going to recharge my camera, in preparation for this.

Current scoreboard, checked, and only two games to be played:

1. Patada Veloz 31 points
2. Pantalones 29 points
3. Lord Ellpus 26 points
6. fbaezer 24 points
5. George 23 points
6. sheo_mac 21 points
7. imur 15 points
8. hingehead 12 points
9. ossobuco 10 points

Patada Veloz: Klose 20; Shevchenko 8; Larsson 3 = 7 goals
Pantalones: Torres 15; Shevchenko 8; Henry 3; Crouch 2; Van Nistelrroj 1 = 8 goals
Lord Ellpus: Adriano 5; Henry 4; Torres 9; Klose 8 = 9 goals
George: Crespo 10; Ronaldo 8; Drogba 3; Pauleta 2 = 6 goals
sheo_mac: Van Nistelrooj 5; Ronaldo 8; Crouch 3; Pauleta 2; Reyes 3 = 8 goals
fbaezer: Shevchenko 10; Klose 12; Adriano 2 = 7 goals
imur: Crouch 5; Larsson 4; Frei 3; Chun-Soo 2; Adriano 1 = 5 goals
hingehead: Podolski 5; Fonseca 4; Raúl 3 = 3 goals
ossobuco: Van Nistelrooj 5; Gilardino 3; Raúl 2 = 3 goals

The final is between Patada Veloz and Pantalonesm, it seems.
Patada Veloz is hoping that Henry does not score.
A goal by Henry gives Pantalones the title.
A hat trick by Henry, though, pulls Lord Ellpus to the first place.
Imur needs seven goals by Frei and Chun-Soo to win.
