After Three days of competition, a new leader (based on the fact his strikers have actually scored three times):

1. George 10 points
2. Patada Veloz 10 points
3. fbaezer 6 points
4. Lord Ellpus 4 points
5. sheo_mac 2 points
6. hingehead, imur, ossobuco & Pantalones 0 points

PS: No changes until the end of the group phase, Patada Veloz and everyone else. Think about poor me, I had Ibrahimovic on the assumption that he'd whip Trinidad & Tobago.

Italy are playing Ghana today, so my Toni should score at least a hat trick, putting me back up there with the leaders.

HOORAH!

...and I had Larsson.

Never seen Luca Toni play (only in my Panini album); tonight at 9 will be a quite interesting game. I believe, though I'm not sure, that almost the same Ghana team crushed Italy 4 to 0 in the 2000 Olympics. Does anyone knows knows more about this?

The scores don't move today. Baros didn't play. Neither Toni or Gilardino scored (though Toni was damn near).

Do I have to run around my desk with my pants off if I get no points?

Well, I must say that I was more than impressed with my Adriano and Thierry Henry.

I thought that I would get at least ONE goal between them!

OUTRAGEOUS!

That <oh> post I made turned out weird... I had said a few more words, like "oh, that would be interesting". Probably my computer - it's not letting all the words between <and> post, and I keep forgetting that.

All the teams have played now (except Tunisia-Saudi Arabia, but few people care about that one). This is the scoreboard, counting the goal by "El Niño" Torres:

1. George 10 points
2. Patada Veloz 10 points
3. Lord Ellpus 7 points
4. fbaezer 6 points
5. Pantalones 5 points
6. sheo_mac 2 points
6. imur 2 points
8. hingehead & ossobuco 0 points

---

But we still have Germany playing today. 'Til later.

Since no one thought on Neuville, the partial results stand.

Current scoreboard, after the Crouch crowd added some points:

1. George 10 points
2. Patada Veloz 10 points
3. Lord Ellpus 7 points
4. imur 7 points
4. Pantalones 7 points
6. fbaezer 6 points
7. sheo_mac 5 points
8. hingehead & ossobuco 0 points

Lord Ellpus has a marginal lead over imur & Pantalones, due to the total number of goals scored by his strikers.

Another goal for Crespo!
(Maybe alphabetical order wasn't such a bad idea.)
