Current scoreboard:

As I go downhill, ossobuco makes herself present and hingehead is training already for the streaking act.

My choices really seem to be paying dividends, methinks.

Luca Toni played like a farmer who was suffering from haemorrhoids!

Damn! (again)

I think Imur has a point there.

Get it?

As far as my marauding stud stallions are concerned..... HOORAH!

(at last).

I shall be having a word with Henry, when he gets back to the Arsenal training ground in London Colney. He could have bagged a bloody hat trick against Korea. Damned lazy, if you ask me.

Anyway, I shall be expecting to overtake George within the next couple of days. Watch your arse, old boy......

Thanks fbaezer.

You're doing a great job here. Much appreciated. This thread has enhanced my interest in the World Cup - the more so as Rep. Ireland didn't qualify.

Well done, Pantalones......but I have high hopes for Klose tomorrow.

Yep, I agree with Imur. You're doing a great job, fbaezer.

I can't wait for hingehead to do his streak!

Osso is doing well, considering she knows not a lot about football.

I'll have to get her to choose my lottery numbers for next week.

OK Osso......six numbers between 1 and 49, if you would be so kind.

(I'll give you 10% of my winnings)

Yeah. It was a big help to me when Pantalones suggested I choose strikers from a list of forwards...

Thanks! Torres has responded fabulous and Shevchenko was the only one that hadn't scored up til now and he scores one now.

I'll let you guys get up ahead again and strike at the last days with Henry, Torres and Shevchenko. Smile

Darn you, osso!
And I thought you'd be the one more interested with the streaking show!

hingehead, you've got 3 points... and I'm looking forward for a very good showing of your striker number 2

Still waiting for my numbers, Osso.

You'd better be quick, as hingehead is offering to do it, and you know how lucky HE is!!

Oh, all right, Ellpus. I haven't won anything since the camera at my friend's photo store opening, I didn't even accept it, whatta dummy, wanting the store to do ok...

These are the numbers not to pick - 4, 19, 23, 31, 45, 46. Those all seem like terrible numbers that don't ring any bells to me...

I like 3, 11, 18, 27, 37, and 42. More euphonious...

I have a nice bridge..
