My brother was in town and yesterday we invited some family over to the house and had a barbecue. His babyback ribs are amazing and the sauce, his own concoction, sublime. We're talking about bottling it and putting it on the market.

Squash risotto with browned butter and sage, mace and saffron. A few other spices and onion/garlic with a small handful of pecorino tossed in.

Hell has frozen over. I had a portion of a bag of tortilla chips and some sour cream with christmas salsa mix in it - christmas meaning both red and green chiles (chilies, dried garlic, dried onion, spices, salt).

Ok, ok, I'll have some sliced apple in a bit.

There's always tomorrow..

BBQ sauce bottling sounds interesting, EOE... and why not, I say.

I might have a photo to show you, eoe, not as discouragement, but encouragement. Well, first I'll see if I can find it. It's not of bbq sauces, but of, y'know, those small bottles of firey hot sauce, in a shop in old town Albuquerque. I bet all of those in the photo, should I produce the photo, have buyers.

Some part of the pizazz is the label - I've a friend, well, more of an acquaintance, who had done graphics for a successful beer label or two or three. You of all people can do that too, some kind of signature graphic.

Lessee if the photo shows up -

Ah, it did. You can see there are more shelves..

I can see collectors going after these.. but that's just the graphics.

Osso, we were kicking around names for his sauce because we all know that a catchy name and great graphics make the initial sell. Of course, the product has to be good after that but considering the number of sauces on the shelves, the name and label is certainly key.

An early cafe dinner after an afternoon movie yesterday: Meat ball thingies in a spicey sauce with new, steamed potatoes & a huge helping of greens & other goodies salad. Not bad!

Baked Tilapia with olive oil, ginger, basil - ok, but that mix goes better with salmon.
Baked pear tomatoes with o/oil, basil, balsamico.

What's Tilapia, osso?
A fish, I'd guess.
