I think it might be the cheese.

I bought some award winning Welsh cheese at the show.

It's very nice but it stinks.

After I opened it I had to put the rest in the freezer.

I'm defrosting the last bit.

I make a massive pot of chilli, and then freeze enough for about four mre meals.

I use a Hairy Bikers as a base then I modify it somewhat.

Tonight I'm just making a Caesar Salad along with a cheese, potato chicken casserole. I use heavy cream in mine.

A lad from Barrow and a Geordie. They're quite popular over here, very down to Earth. I don't like everything they do though.

Tonight I'm making Pan-Poached Alaskan Salmon Piccata

Going to serve it with a pasta salad.

A lot of Americans would have a problem with their accents.

With a few exceptions chefs don't usually cross the Atlantic very well.

Martha Stewart is only known over here because of the Simpsons.

I used up the leftover roast beef to make a cottage pie.

I made a pear tart for dessert, modifying Raymond Blanc's "Mamon Blanc" apple tart.

Neighbour has been preparing evening meals several times a week since Setanta died. Awesome friends and neighbour eh. Got a chance to cook my own meal last night. Chili! It was gooood :^)

One of them has died, the other one is some right wing meme.

I never really liked them much, way too posh and privileged.

The Hairy Bikers are more down to Earth.

Having said that I don't like everything they do.

They did a pork pie recipe once.

Now, what put me off pork pies is the horrible jelly between the meat and pastry.

I always thought it was an unfortunate consequence of cooking, but no, the jelly is actually added.

If I ever make pork pies, I'll leave that stage out.

I made bread yesterday and today I'm making spicy beef samosas. I don't like bland food. Your pork jelly comment made me think of head cheese - ugh.

We only ever have veggie samosas over here.

There's lots of corner shops sell them, and they're very good.

Meat ones are almost always lamb and I can't stand it.

I normally make samosas on Boxing Day to use up all the leftover veg and potatoes.

I just add some curry powder and stick it in filo pastry.

That's another Hairy Bikers trick.

Last night I made this Easy Perfect Mahi Mahi Recipe Came out pretty good, had it with wild rice. Tonight I'm just going to have steaks with baked potatoes with sour cream and butter.

The recipe came out pretty good but I think I over cooked the chicken, it wasn't very tender.

I found fresh scallops today so I’m having them with wild rice and sautéed spinach with pine nuts. Quick easy dinner to make.
