So, what did you have for dinner last night Gus?

If you are going to start talking about food, well, I guess I will leave this thread.

Try to stay on subject.

It's simple. An egg in it with some vegetables or sliced young bamboo.

just came back from the annual neighbourhood barbeque ... too much food as usual :
grilled chickenbreasts , burgers , dogs , cold curried chicken barbados-style (my fav) , crockpot ofbrown beans - montreal style (with maple syrup) ,
plenty of salads and side dishes ,
dessetrs , coffee and tea , treats , softdrinks and DONUTS for the kids .

i'll need a digestive liqueur before turning in Laughing .

We shoulda stayed just a little bit longer in Kingston ... I could stand some curried chicken salad ... mmm

having some of my neighbour's spaghetti and red sauce left over from before the vacation. The basil really spread its flavour during its time in the fridge - tasty.

That was my dry sense of humor, Gus, and sure, many hugs.

A baked/casserole-type chicken dish cooked in an orange & other goodies sauce* served on steamed Basmati rice.
(*I'm getting a lot of use out of my newly purchased midget blender.)

No.
These are Boletus- too nice to use in Gulasch.
It is rice ( risotto rice) and Boletus.
Easy to cook and tasty if you like Risotto.

OOOH! My favourite mushroom!

They're called "Cep" (sep) here in the UK, or "penny buns".

I found loads of them last Autumn, and am eagerly awating this years crop, now I know where they are.

Nice find!
