I'm going to make something with the leftover lamb. Haven't figured it out exactly yet. Maybe a cheater version of a shepherd's pie.

I'm going to try to make these this afternoon, or maybe tomorrow

I was looking for a recipe including lemon curd and cream cheese. mmmmmmm <no one has to know it's light cream cheese>

Beth,

I made some yummy lemon curd tarts at christmas time. I just used a sugar cookie recipe, to which I added lemon zest, as the crust. Patted the cookie dough into mini muffin tins and filled them with lemon curd. I would think you could put in a cheesecake layer before you added the curd. that would be yummy.

Tonight, I'm taking #1 son out to an Indian restaurant (I think.) Anybody got a recommendation for what I should order? I've not eaten Indian food more than once.

Marinated flank steak, brown basmati rice flavored with chicken stock, onion and celery, and canned corn (I ran out of ideas there at the end, could ya tell?).

I will try to combine unlikely ingredients for my pasta sauce tonight. I have too much chevre (is that possible?). So, it'll be chevre, green olive tapenade and pesto. And that'll be slathered over chive gnocchi. I may explode.

I'm eating out tonight. Will have to rug up, though. It's bloody cold!

Yum, you can cook for me anytime, k! I like your style! Very Happy
But what is "chevre"?

The sauce is definitely interesting, but not bad.

Chevre is soft goat cheese (it's french dontcha know).

I like this. Take some starch, add some fat, some more fat, and....oh...why not somemore fat. Yum!
