@jcboy,
I haven't yet made dinner because I can't stop watching the Senate testimony, I'm also getting very hungry.

@glitterbag,
The Rican is cooking tonight, shrimp scampi. I only know because I peaked at the receipt when he came back from the market Cool

@jcboy,
Since the sub-title includes "food," I must share what I had for lunch. It was a crab salad at the Fish Market restaurant just a few miles from where we live. It was a good treat with a glass of house cab.

went swimming at 6:30 so I'm cooking now

it's going to be something involving carrots and rice and whatever else I can find that's easy to make Smile

Tomorrow I'll be making my Sunday sauce again, the kids love my meatballs.

Tonight we're all going out for din din, haven't decided where yet.

@jcboy,
any good Korean restaurants around you? - where they have the grill in the middle of the table. love those places.

a friend recently took her kids and a grand to a sushi river restaurant - apparently the food was ok but the entertainment was fabulous

5 burgers in the grill pan tonight

2 big butch size
2 princess size
1 baby bella size

I tricked them out by tucking some bacon and cheese from the cobb salad into them as they grilled. tasty

I made some sweet potato gnocchi. They turned out pretty well, but I'm struggling to decide what sort of sauce would be best.

I made a sauce with butter, spring onions, asparagus and spinach. Fresh, seasonal vegetables. It was OK, but I felt it needed something else. I tried the leftovers with home made tomato sauce. Again OK, but....

Any thoughts??

@margo,
Yum, sage and garlic, I assume you ran out of bacon quite some time ago.

Prawns, oysters and sushi tonite.

@ehBeth,
There are a few, the kids love to watch the chef cooking and clowning around at the table.

Last night I made fresh salmon, Spanish rice and black beans. Garnished with tomatoes’ and avocado. It must have been good because they all cleaned their plates!

@jcboy,
Do you have a restaurant? You should, if you don't.

@jcboy,
Is that rice? It looks more like angel hair or fideo pasta.

Its rice, pasta and stewed tomatoes, they wanted me to make it again so I guess that means they liked it Smile

@chai2,
Ok, tonight I broiled steaks seasoned with Himalayan Pink Salt/fresh ground pepper and garlic. (I just got it from McCormicks....love it) Also baked potatoes and buttered baby carrots.

I'm planning on going to the market today and buy a nice roast, we're going to be busy this afternoon so I don't have time to spend in the kitchen.

A roast, potatoes and carrots in the oven for four hours while we're running errands, come home and din din is served.
