@ossobucotemp,
I haven't seen yellow beans in years, maybe not since California, but I don't romp around as much now. If not delicious, which I figure they are, at least they would be pretty.

basically this

without bell peppers

https://www.skinnytaste.com/turkey-chili-taco-soup/

started with two turkey legs instead of ground turkey
the broth is amazing

black beans instead of kidney beans

used a half pack of left-over reduced sodium taco seasoning mix

this is so delicious

@ehBeth,
Last night was one slice of sourdough toast (bad girl, I need to get back to whole grains), sliced in half. On one half was dribbled olive oil plus some thin slices of pancetta; on the other was another olive oil dribbling plus a schmear of herb and garlic Boursin cheese. Quite wonderful.

@ossobucotemp,
Tonight I'm making chicken soup with a variety of greens, caramelized onions, several cut up cloves of garlic, maybe green chile powder, previously cooked chicken thigh, not sure what else yet, as the night is still young. Maybe some pasta, but I prefer stand-alone pasta, not so fond of day or more old pasta that is a soup leftover.

@ehBeth,
Iron skillet rib eye.
When meat rested, butter, dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce, onion/garlic powders, parsley ,rosemary and thyme added to skillet, and scraped, and scraped, mixing. Enough butter to make a sauce. That much butter.
In the states this is a basic variation called "zip" sauce.
Slice, dip.
Rice pilaf, salad accompaniments.
