@msolga,
In the process of starting tonight's dinner (it's going to be an early one) a tuna sauce ( with onions, garlic, green pepper, tomatoes, capers, parsley, etc) on pasta. Largely a "from the shelf & the fridge" recipe, with parsley from the garden.
About all up up to today .... sadly lacking in energy for some unknown reason.
But my dinner companion will understand & will swear it is great! Thank heavens for that! Smile

So how did your chick pea dish work out last night, Deb?
I'm interested.

@msolga,
Hi msolga, our dinner tonight in my favourite seaside restaurant was superb. We had grilled marinated pork fillet with small roasted potatoes, covered with a delicious wine sauce and fresh vegetables. A lovely sorbet was our dessert. All paid for by Dunaden the Melbourne Cup winner. Smile

@msolga,
Tonight was an easy dinner. Fried some breaded chicken breast, had it with jasmine rice and a nice salad.

@MMarciano,
Sounds good, Marco!

My dinner tonight will be left-overs from the last few days.
I have quite a choice!

@msolga,
Eating remnants now. I shoved in tuna, a wee bit of butter and some low fat cheese. It's fine. Especially since I've only nibbled hazel nuts today....didn't get a lunch break.

@msolga,
No just a $10.00 bet, but it paid only $1.60, so my return was $16.00 but little fish are sweet. Smile

Tonight: a couple of baked potatoes topped with this onion/bacon/black-eyed beans/ tomato/chard/ etc, slow-cooked concoction I made. (Tastes pretty good!)
Not much inspiration for cooking today... it's one of those sticky, steamy, pre-storm periods which kinda saps your energy.

@msolga,
Cooked prawns and sauce on bread, sitting outside on the patio with a good bottle of white wine. Very simple but nice.

@Dutchy,
We just got home from Tampa, aunt Isabel made a roasted chicken with potatoes. We had a fabulous dinner. Antonio was so happy to spend some time with his auntie.

@jcboy,
we`re going to have grilled chicken legs

I think is getting ready to bake up an fyo (from your oven) baguette. He just polished off a giant Greek salad with the dogs` assistance.
