Delicious! I'll be making this again.

It will probably be even better tomorrow.

@JPB,
That looks wonderful, JPB!
Yum.

You know, I've taken to throwing handful of greens into my soups this winter. Right toward the end of the cooking process.
First, I tried a little chopped silverbeet/chard (which I have growing in my garden), then more & more each time. I really, really like it.

But escarole is a complete mystery to me.
I think it might be called "chicory" here. Not sure.
I'm now going to investigate!

@msolga,
Likewise msolga. I tried kale, and bok choy greens. The kale was not the nicest when consumed raw. Added to brothy goodness, it sucked up much flavor, and the texture when cooked was nice.

@msolga,
Escarole = endive. Lately, I love mache or spinach salad or just plain tomato salad with onions.

@CalamityJane,
we eat a lot of tomato/cucumber/onion salads this time of year. Also, I love tomato/fresh mozzarella/fresh basil salad with balsamic vinaigrette

Yummy!

the ribs were fabulous
my homemade baked fries are better

I do too! I have a basil planter outside, so I am always ready to have a tomato/mozzarella/basil salad, with a baguette it's a good meal.

@Rockhead,
grilled pork chops - the special kind, where they tell you who the farmers were

sliced tomatoes with LOTSA fresh ground pepper and bocconcini pearls and a bit of olive oil mayo as a side dip

@ehBeth,
Tonight Marco made chicken, he pounded it flat, breaded the chicken and fried it with prosciutto ham on top then squeezed a lemon on it. It was delicious.

I think tonight I'll just stop by the grocery store and pick up some steaks for the grill, probably make a pasta salad.
