Made some pulled pork BBQ yesterday.
A 3 lb Boston Butt slow cooked in a mixture of Guiness and spices.
After it cooled I pulled it apart and cooked it in a mix of Everglades Mopping Sauce and a can of Campbells French Onion Soup.
Served on a French hamburger bun with home made KFC slaw on the side.

I'm roasting a stuffed (free-range) chicken with pumpkin & potatoes tonight.
I think I'll steam some peas just before serving.
A chilly night (after a surprise sunny day! Surprised Smile ) here. Dark really quickly, though.
Winter.
Time for comfort food!

@msolga,
So, has anyone else eaten any dinners lately?

@msolga,
Had the family over from Port Lincoln so I treated them to a meal of Beef or Chicken satays for entrees, and a chicken chop suey banquet for a main meal followed by a Bomb Alaska for dessert.

@Dutchy,
we had mac and cheese and a side of fresh garden sugar snap peas in a garlicky butter gravy. Every so often stuff like this with no meat is good, but not too often.

I learned that eating a chive flower is much more mild when in an unopened form, as pictured.
No, I did not use the mint jelly.

Ordered a Papa Johns The Works pizza online.
30 minutes later came the knock on my door. Isn't the future wonderful?

I'm just about to roll up my sleeves & make a spaghetti marinara for dinner tonight.
I'm in the mood for a fishy & garlicky fix! Smile

@msolga,
whoa ...I just came home from having a coffee with a friend ... you can certainly tell someone was cooking garlic here tonight!

The marinara was delicious, btw.

@msolga,
Last night it was an interesting configuration of items.

The can of tuna fish (in water, always in water) mixed with basil, onions, black pepper and mayo sat on one side, the green beans cooked in tomato sauce sat on the other. In between sat a plain rice cake. After 3 cups of coffee (black, 99% of the time it must be black) I ate the odd items, then drank the can of Dr.Pepper.

@Sturgis,
One of my favorite rather odd treats - a bowl of thawed but still crispy cold green peas, with salt, pepper, some olive oil, some red wine vinegar, and two roasted garlic cloves diced into little bits. Plus some toasted homemade pan bigio with some lascivious butter.
