@djjd62,
that sounds good - I think I know what we're having tomorrow now Cool

we had home-made sliders made out of a mix of lean beef/lean pork
tasty with my favourite Kozlik's mustard (balsamic/fig)

@ehBeth,
technically the tomatoes weren't grilled, i put a spot of olive oil in a pan, get it good and hot, toss in the tomatoes and some pepper and basil, cook the tomatoes just until the skin splits a bit, very nice served over the omelette

got a bumper crop of tomatoes this year, especially the cherry and yellow plum

My dad and I cooked a meal together. We had halibut marinated and roasted in lemon, olive oil, onions, garlic and herbs. We ate rosemary focaccia and lightly sauteed spinach with garlic and onions. For dessert: my second attempt at no-saturated-fat bread pudding - it was all delicious.

@ossobuco,
The three of us are having dinner out tonight. Going to check out the gallery bistro in Tampa. Heard it was good.

Heading off soon to have Sunday night dinner at a friend's place.

I'm very thankful she has invited me to share her meal as, I confess, I am feeling absolutely uninspired about cooking anything at all tonight.

@msolga,
What put you in such an uninspiring mood msolga? I'm having spaghetti bolognese tonight followed by a bowl of fresh fruit and ice-cream. Very simple.

@Dutchy,
Oh just a bit of a case of the glums, Dutchy.
It'll be gone by tomorrow morning. Smile

Dinner tonight was a LOT of food! (Steak, baked potato, various steamed vegetables ...followed by these delicious home-made mini lemon meringue pies.) ....
Excellent, but a little too much. <burp>

@Dutchy,
But I was just being polite, D!
I ate what I was served.
It would have been terribly rude not to! Smile

@Dutchy,
Actually, the most sensible thing would have been to ask for a doggie bag, rather trying to eat the lot!
