That's dinner? Aiya.
I know, pretty pathetic for a cook, eh? I'm so lazy these days.
It's the severe healthiness that scares me.
nice piece of cold salmon with freshly made dressing (by yours truly  ) , potatoes in the jacket , aspargus from greenridge's farm
HA! Just went out and got some Pad Thai, Rice, and Red Curry Chicken

I am so in heaven.
Glazed salmon with garlic mashers, roasted mushrooms, and arugula salad with goat cheese. I ate the rocket, but it's not my favorite, I like it better on turkey sandwiches.
fresh home made guacamale with tomatoes, bits of fried chorizo sausage. It was surprisingly delicious. In fact that's the only way i'm making it from now on.
today's BIG lunch : freshly made aspargus soup with meatballs and fresh buns from pan chanco bakery - they were still warm when we picked them up this morning when coming home from the pool .
already beginning to salivate !

I was out with friends for dinner tonight. We went to Big Daddy's Crab Shack for their appetizer happy hour.
bruschetta, caesar salad, creole chicken satay and cajun calamari

I made pulled turkey in home-made mole sauce. The recipe wasn't quite right - needs more pepper and more cocoa. But, it was goooooood.
I made orzo pasta with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, finely chopped shallots and nice chunks of avacados with a red wine vinegrette and salt and pepper topped with goat cheese - and a glass of white wine.
Last night I made spicy chicken with onions and green chiles in a "curry" cream.
Chicken with artichoke and mushrooms in a white wine, lemon sauce. Kashi seven grain brown rice. Georgia corn. M&Ms for dessert.(Dark chocolate/peanut)
Emptying freezer special. Shrimp, and chicken. Have not decided how to prepare yet. Pasta dish maybe, but looking for new. Anyone?
I marinate my shrimp in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic with dill. Skewer it and either grill or broil it. I serve it with plain yogurt with garlic and dill and a little lemon juice squeezed in.. Chicken probably wouldn't be bad marinated in that either.
Anyway...it's just one of my fav's when it comes to shrimp.
We had saffron chicken and rice last night, with steamed broccoli. It was really simple but really good.
halibut and trout - panfried , cauliflower + mushrooms , boiled mini-potatoes
Open faced sloppy joe. Topped with onions, french fries and ketchup.
chicken in the pot with mashed potatoes and veg stirfry
