That sounds good, Dys!

We had grilled pork tenderloin (marinated in a peppercorn sauce), grilled fresh asparagus and sliced tomatoes (locally grown, don't worry.)

That was all so healthy and low-fat that Hubby just went out to get us banana splits.

Cool

We had an incredible dinner tonight with our son, his wife, the farmers who are mentoring them and two people from The Bahamas that we never met before. We had roast trout, caught last week in the Boundary Waters by a friend, a pasta dish with tofu and asparagus, baked butternut squash and a green salad made of lettuces, kale and silverbeet from my garden.

The boys put on a feast. Grilled chicken, steak and salmon, potatoes with onions and peppers, corn on the cob, black beans and rice, boiled shrimp, baked crabmeat on a halfshell. They really went all out for their father today.

For my Dad I did filet mignon with bearnaise sauce, seared sea scallops, and asparagus. We were going to do spinach souffle to go with it, but we figured we had enough and made the souffle the next morning for breakfast with leftover filet. Washed it down with a bottle of Coppola Merlot - not bad, not much of a merlot fan here.

grilled pork chops with lots of garlic and mediterranean herbs and spices
rice
some kind of fancy mixed frozen veggies (cleaning out the freezer time)

I'm looking for some salad to round off the plate.

We went to the BBQ Beach party at City Hall Plaza. Soooooooooo much
food. Willingham's of Memphis was the best entry in my opinion. I have
a gut full of ribs and pulled pork and beer. Urp!

Stir fried up last night's leftovers. I think it was better the second time around.

Leftover roast chicken and grilled vegetables artfully arranged on a bed of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Dinner. Hey, if dinner's waiting when I get home after a long day, I'll eat just about anything. (It wasn't at all bad.)

a mini can of tuna in oil (the good kind) with good rye bread and a bit of salsa verde

it was awfully good for something that simple
