Dinner tonight is a reheated version of this. Sigh. You know how it goes? Tired & too busy. Sigh.:

Soup tonight. Tomato & lentil. With onion, pancetta, celery & garlic. Plus some slices of grilled Italian sausage thrown in right towards the end of cooking. Served with fresh basil leaves. Rather nice! Very Happy

Whoops! Omitted the chicken stock in my list! Ah. That's much better!

I was out last night at one of the best restaurants in our area - Schwanen. They had an Italian evening with different wines and a four course meal. It was absolutely wonderful.

Stopped at Qingdao on the way home. I'm just finishing up about 1/3 of the food. I got General Gau's with tofu instead of chicken, bean curd skins warpped around mushrooms, and spinach sauteed with garlic. Yum!

Not dinner, but dim sum at China Pearl in Woburn.
Had to get there early, dim sum seems to be catching on in the 'burbs.
Ratio of Asian to Caucasian diners seemed to be 50-50.
It was exactly that at our table (The Lovely Bride, Clive, and I).

Anchovies, I forgot the anchovies.

Pizza is rising, with smoked mozzarella, v. thin sliced onion, torn basil leaves, grated pecorino... and, now, a few anchovy bits.
