Chips 'n' egg update.........

it was bloody lovely! My Nana sends you a royal wave.

I'm back home now and I've just eaten some veg curry too. (Told you I was greedy).

How was the veg curry?

The veg curry was lovely, however (and it's only a small however), I would omit the sweet potatoe next time 'cos it was just a little bit....er.......sweet.

McDonalds tonight I'm afraid. That's pester power for ya.

1. To stay well away from election coverage.

2. Leftover silverbeet, bacon, onion, garlic, shallot, parsley in filo pastry.

3. Look at patch in garden where silverbeet used to be.

4. Contemplate not posting on anthropomorhism (sic) in favour of contemplating my antonymous deification for the spinach pie.

Silverbeet is what we across the waters call swiss chard, isn't it? that sounds delicious, solipsister...

Wanna share my pasta with (very, very garlicky!) mushroom "sauce" (with lots of parsley & chili, all sauteed in olive oil, along with the mushrooms) then, Endy?

I always make enough for around 6 people, somehow. Way too much! So you're most welcome! Very Happy

It is fantastic, Endy! Very Happy

You just have to be careful not to breath in anyone's direct for a few days after, that's all!

I picked up a small package of pre-cut soup starter veggies today. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to use those make a bean soup to have with left-over lamb sausage (they're small, but 18 was still too many for 2 people and 2 small dogs), or if I want to make a wild mushroom risotto - stir-fry the veggies and sausage to serve on the side.

mulling over the options while I sip on my chocolate chai

We just finished some roasted veggie soup (carrots, onion, celery and garlic) topped with black pumpkinseed oil. Pretty, pretty good.
