In winter a many Mexicans
crossing illegally into the US, die of hypothermia and in
summer they die of heat exhaustion and dehydration.
Good Samaritans have put water stations up and in the
wintertime they scan the area and give out blankets, but
it is not enough for everyone, sadly.

The remedy of course is in the hands of the illegals. They can stop their illegal activity.

au1929, it's easy for you to say. Have you been to Mexico?
I mean true Mexico, not the vacation spots and resorts.
These people are very poor and have no means to better
themselves. Rich USA is right next door and opportunities
are waiting there. Who would fault them for NOT trying.

Illegal or not, they are still human beings and as such
they deserve to be treated in a decent manner.

I know: opposite signs. But the very same was said about the victims behind the "iron curtain" - and similar photos like in my quotation were to be seen in those days as well.

This is a very interesting topic of course. I find it odd that we ship so many jobs to Mexico and yet all these folks come here.

Can anyone draw a correlation?

Also, if Mexico cannot support its population, why are there so many of them?

There used to be a deaf Mexican girl in Statesboro Georgia who would pull a train for the band when we were in town playing The Flame. She stood right next to our PA so she could feel the vibrations and dance. She was very attractive and quite accomodating sexually. I didn't think to ask if she had a green card when she was doing us five at a time.... silly me. If I'd known then what I know now I'd have found out because I wouldn't want to encourage an illegal.

So, correlate this to jobs being shipped to Mexico.

What would you suggest the US open it's borders to all who want to enter?
As for "rich" USA. There are millions of US citizens living at or below the poverty level. Those "Rich" people are the ones who are being impacted by the illegal. This BS that they only take jobs that citizens will not is so much crap. The take many job that Citizens will not take by undercutting the wage structure.

That's an easy one. A three-way combination of poverty, ignorance, and Catholicism.
