Unfortunately, we cannot rely on O to crack down on illegals. He is just as soft as is McCain.

You compare McCain to Obama in immigration policy, think again, the joke is on you, Advocate. Obama will probably be at the border waving them on over, with application forms to join ACORN.

@okie,
okie, You keep repeating ACORN as if there's something wrong with that organization. Have they been charged with a crime that we don't know about?

@cicerone imposter,
Yeah, there is something wrong with that organization. We don't need a bunch of street organizers and agitators running around like Obama's little brown shirts intimidating all of us into registering, voting, whatever. They have been involved in lots of unethical activity or crimes, such as registering phony voters, the list goes on. This organization is not pure as the wind driven snow. We don't need it. Go register to vote with the county clerk, and if you can't figure out how to do that, I would say quit voting, your vote is probably going to be uninformed or wrong anyway.

Wake up and oppose all of Obama's stupid ideas, designed to undercut and overthrow our way of life. This man needs to be vigorously opposed and defeated. He is the worst thing to happen to this country since Day 1.

If you haven't noticed, I decided to quit sugar coating my opinion. Obama has wiped out all doubt about what he is about and what he is trying to do.

@okie,
Just because you don't like something doesn't make them illegal.

@okie,
okie, What organization is as white as the driven snow? Where do you live? It seems you live (some small village is my guess) in a place where everything is perfect.

@hamburger,
Well I'm still sugar coating my opinion a bit, but I'll have to agree with Okie that I don't want Obama telling me how I have to live my life. He's free to live his life any way he wants but I wish he would leave the rest of us out of it.

@Advocate,
We stole the U.S. southwest from Mexico in 1848 . Now it seems that there is a re-conquest (reconquista) occuring by means of demographic processes.
Anyone who abhors this phenomenon is a racist. And would probably like to return the Statue of Liberty to France.

And I guess Spain did not steal South America from the natives there?

Anyone who abhors this phenomenon is a racist? Weird opinion there. I lived in NM at one time, and the Hispanics mostly run the state, I think, I liked it there, but one thing you may be overlooking, alot of hispanics abhor illegal immigration. Legal immigration, great, bring more in, but just keep the illegals out, which includes besides hard working people, all the drug dealers and gangsters. I see no reason why we shouldn't keep those people out, after all look what the state of affairs is in Mexico. Do you want the same thing here?

It never ceases to amaze me the opinions one can read here on this forum. No wonder the country is going down the tubes.

@okie,
I should add this note, its one of the reasons California is going broke, or is broke. If the problem is not reigned in, it will help bankrupt the country, and it probably already is doing it, especially with Obama spending like a drunken sailor.

well damn, c.i. ACORN is right there on the rnc talking points list. you should be frightened, frightened i tell ya. ACORN is grabbing people off the street, duct taping there asses to a metal chair in a cold dark basement; putting a gun to their head, and forcing them to register to vote.

oh wait. no they didn't. in fact the only person arrested for voter registration fraud related activities was young mark jacoby, a republican backed operative. Laughing

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/20/national/main4532113.shtml

anyway, ci, if you can get a copy of the resurgent talking points, ACORN is right in there with "teleprompter gate", "socialist" and alla that good crap.

it really is quite amusing, nevertheless, spouting that crap does not one thing to repair the country's problems. i guess that's all that the republicans have left, since they haven't had a fresh idea in a generations.

I would imagine all republicans are Christians and I think 85 percent of the population in the USA are Christians-- perhaps the USA Christians would agree with me on the way to fix the problems.. That is, for them all to drop to their knees and pray non stop till their God fixes it.... if they pray long enough it's sure their problem -- one way or the other.

I don't mind when someone is wrong (as I often am) or even the outright lies, but it's the half-truths that repell me.
