This is much, much nicer than snow. How long till her garden looks like this again?:

Msolga, although that pic was taken back in September, as far
as our devine Miss M is concerned, it was about 5 years
ago, and that's how long it's gonna be until next time. Nekochan
and Mitsu ignore her yowls as best they can, and a minute outside the
door is enough to calm her down to where she's content to play some catch
with me, or to chew and shred my house slippers before going into the cuddly
lapcat mode while Mrs. Nomad knits or watches TV. Or when I'm at the computer.

So much of winter yet & cabin fever already!

I'm afraid you'll have to invent bigger & better diversions, neko. (or you're gonna be very sorry soon! )

Oh,when she's good, she's very, very good, and a delight to have around. Most of the time, she'll trot directly to the litter pan after coming back in from the cold, telling me in her own fashion the reason she had asked tobe let out.

Don't tell anyone, o.k. ? Mrs. Nomad tells me Miss Mollie's got me just about completely trained.

Mrs Nomad is absolutely correct!

But this is not such a bad thing (about you being properly trained), you know!

To be fair, she really doesn't ask for much, and if you met her, Msolga, I'm sure she'd get your heart, and half your lunch, too.

Thank you, neko. (Yes, my State -Victoria - has a history of bushfires similar to that of southern California.) I am not directly in the fire zone, living in the capital of the state, Melbourne. But we are all contected & everyone knows people who have been affected ... the fires have been so widespread across the state.

Dame Nekochan's photograph is so similar to my Poppy's response to the cool change (yesterday) here. At last! After days of being very reluctantly dragged inside to escape the hideous heat ( Max 46+ C on Saturday. Shocking!) On Sunday morning she took to my bed during the dramatic change of temperature. (Almost cool!) & slept & slept & slept & slept for something like 14 hours! She was in another place! She looked just like your photograph of Nekochan. It was so good to see her so relaxed again!

Hey there Cat A2tookies....

I got pics of the boys to post a little later in the week. They love a rough and tumble.... fur flying... hairballs! Lots of pleasure watching them play. The both tolerate the Dawgs - tho KC will still have a hissy fit if they get too boisterous. Love those kitties. xxxxxxxxxx
