An understatement if there ever was one!
However, she's being kept under watch for a urinary issue since Monday. Passing pink shaded pee, and the vet has put her on antibiotics - a skin absorbent type smeared inside her ear.. This little girl called my attention to her problem by beckoning me to follow her to the basement, and showed me. She's her usual active and vocal self, and given her youth, concern for her is low-level for now.

Aw, poor little thing!
Been there with another (of my many) cats, Neko. (She "alerted" me to the problem, too.) No more dried food for that cat! Urinary tract infections can cause them so much discomfort & distress. Good luck, I hope the infection clears up very soon.

Miss M was getting way too much coffee cream from me. No specific precautions from the vet, but she's off it for the duration, and will get only a token amount afterwards. Meanwhile, I ignore her efforts at opening the fridge door the best I can.

Finally managed to get here at last and here's a couple mins in the life of the naughty, naughty kittens - they are so much fun - love each other to pieces... and cuddle up together all day - when they aren't flying around the house leaving fur everwhere. They complement each other in every way - Murphy is just a big fluffball and all around yer feet, quite confident, whereas KittyCat is a tad noivous still - but he is the more playful of the two. Just such a delight to have kitties here.

Hi, Izzy;Those pics are a hoot!
We've been treated to the chair scenes, and the fullnelson wrestle -hold one , whenever Nekochan tries to get across to Miss Molly that she's had enough unsolicited grooming each midmorning as though on schedule. It's like watching pro wrestling!
This activity is on hold, though, until Miss Molly has dealt with her personal issue. She's doing fine, and doesn't require my presence in the basement now.
Should resume by week's end....

so.......... little bit noivous. I'm going to let the kitties out tomorrow for the first time, which is a little worrying. They desperately want to go out and, for me, not being able to keep doors and windows open in the house is..... not healthy for me - need to hear the outside and get some air flowing round the house.

However, having lost Bozzy when we moved here - and knowing how much S-boy will get upset if they go missing (or.... you know).... it's a just a worry. Yesterday I put collars on them (which I don't like, especially as I have trees all around me, but ...) which have nametags with phone numbers and today they are going to the vet to be microchipped.

Ohhhhhhhhhh.... I really want them to go out and explore - the garden and fields are perfect for them - it's just a little worriesome - a) road (albeit a small one) b) foxes(lots of them), c) buzzards heaps of them - tho the kitties are a decent size now so hopefully a little large for the buzzard a la carte menu.

I'm sure it will be fine - just don't want to see the little fellas heart break again if they go missing.


Ah well..... we shall see - the kitties will have a good time in the garden <stay away from the boids!!!!!!!!!!!!!> and I have a catflap so they come and go whenever they choose. Shall let them go out hungry to start off with and rattle their food when they start exploring to try and entice them back. And if they are in at nite, shall keep them in the conservatory for a couple more weeks.

They are about 8 months old now and should be able to hold their own - but then again, I had Bozzy from 4 weeks old (he was 10 when he went)and after we moved he disappeared and that was that. Never knew what happened to him. My other 2 kitties, Poppy and Loopy were killed on the road (big road tho in the middle of nowhere at my old house) - so..... just a little noivous today. I had to have my other big cheshire cat put to sleep - and the cats we had in the US - we had to leave them behind.

Still, cat's are part of my life.

Any advice anyones got..... thankee...

Oh yep MsOlga - I got so many pics to post of the boyz - they make me laugh so much. However, they are very naughty kittens - my carpets are trashed - they find a little bit to grabba hold of and pulllllllll! I had a large bouquet of fleurs in the conservatory last nite (big heavy vase) and forgot to bring it in when I put the kitties in there for the nite - mmmmmmmmmmmm..... it didn't last long. Went down thismorning - tipped over, nibbled flowers!

Murphy is the long hair fluffball and he leaves his fur EVERYWHERE when they rough and tumble. I mean EVERYWHERE.

They do make us smile big - little fella loves them (tho they are still very wary of him and don't "willingly" cuddle him. The black kitty sits beside me all the time when he's not attacking his brother - when I type, he tries to dap my hands and sits directly behing the latop, every so often, his paw comes round - then he'll chase the cursor on the screen.

Verra naughty kittens - love 'em!


(will have my camera and their food when I let them out - no worries - but if they take off I won't be able to go after them - so..... fingers crossed and hope they'll stay close)
