THE NEW CAT ROOM! (or the Cat Room #2)

Nisse and Mysan don't mind sitting in the wet bathtub after I took a shower. But on your mother's tummy? Wow!

They both like to drink in the bathtub. We have to turn on the water just a little bit and they drink and drink and drink... We have to change their litter box quite often because they pee a lot, too, of course.

This was when the tummy in question was above water!


Some cats love water.....is it the Burmese, and the Norwegian forest cat????????? Or the Maine Coon???? Dammit, I can't recall.

Our Maine Coons jump into the tub sometimes when we're showering -- especially the little guy. They also play hide 'n seek from behind the shower curtain. One jumps into the tub, crouches down behind the curtain, gets all wiggly, and charges out after the other two to chase them down the hall. Great fun to watch!

We renovated a bathroom at one house and installed lever-type handles on the sink taps (you can already guess where this is going...). Yep, the cat learned to push them on with her head. We kept blaming our young children for leaving the water running before we caught her at it. Had to change the handles. She really liked drinking fresh water!

I am glad ours do not catch on that quickly. Otherwise they would surely turn on the water themselves.

Ah, not in the water, dlowan. I was wondering... I think Maine Coones don't mind water.

I've never figured out this thing about cats & the bath tub. Why do they suddenly decide to become so friendly when you're bathing?
Perhaps they just like getting wet?

Well, I'm now charging the batteries for the little camera I bought something like .. 2 years ago. Then I'll read the manual .... then I'll figure out the computer part of the deal, then work out the Photo Bucket (I think) deal.
Kinda sad & woeful, isn't it?
