Oh thank you all of you for being so supportive
well ..... we think she was over at the industrial estate - not somewhere she'd ever normally go, it's too far from home but himself had been over there repeatedly. Something must have spooked her on Friday and she ran there and got locked in somehow.
My daughter was so upset and worried when we told her on Tuesday night, that she booked today off and came over last night to spend last night and today searching with himself.
They were out for 3 hours last night with torches, finishing up at the industrial estate, climbing through bushes - thinking they may find a body

. My daughter thought she heard a miaow from some sort of pit and was preparing to climb down when some security men arrived and objected - they looked but found nothing.
I don't know if they checked elsewhere and found her locked in - but Rosie made it home 30 seconds before them - so I'm certain it was no coincidence, that she was let out from somewhere, heard their voices and followed - then ran home once she was back on familiar ground.
There was a pathetic croaky miaow at the back door - Paddy was in so it wasn't him

- in she came all happy to be home and upset and thin, with a little pinched looking sad face.
I hugged her, went to get her some chicken and phone the search party and they said they were at the front door!
A big group hug with Rosie squashed in the middle and lots of tears!!!!
