He's agog, obviously!

"What, one more photograph? But you've taken 25 already!"

Must say, though, he's looking extremely fit & sprucy, despite his obvious ordeal! Very Happy

Was taken about 20 minutes ago!

You're right! I had taken a heap of pretty ordinary shots, and told him I wasn't feeding him until I got something approaching decent!

Poor bugger almost fainted with fright! (Still haven't fed him - should do that now! ) Twisted Evil

Why, feed him his favourite food. For being so patient, of course! Very Happy

So this is weird. Remember how I told you that Lou kept getting hurt when he went outside? Always his rear legs, especially his left rear.

Well, he doesn't go outside much right now because he hates the snow. Get this - his leg is swollen and he's limping again. Since he has all his claws I'm pretty sure it isn't one of my kids because nobody is scratched to pieces.

I told him to stop bothering the vicious hamster.

Thanks, all.

He got his name because of his similarity to my brush-tail possum hand puppet. I think he recognised it. He still sometimes plays with it.

Hi msolga, we are both fine ... thank you for asking:)

My sister-in-law was here from Ireland, so we've been quite busy.

Hope you are well too, and that adorable kitty you have:)

Hugs, Misti

Thanks for asking, Misti.
I'm fine. And Poppy, my newish cat, is just wonderful! Very Happy
(Never let anyone talk you out of taking on an adult cat needing a home I say!)

And how's Ms Rae, Misti? No word for a long, long time.

msolga, msrae, is just fine ... We were just speaking of you the other day, she said to send her love!

I am happy mspoppy is doing well, at least well one less kitty we don't have to worry about, huh?

Lacey also is doing great (msrae's kitty) ... Lacey is special, she knows it too ... She is very independent and extremely comfortable in her own skin.

Well send my love back to Rae, Misti! Very Happy
I have no idea of what she's up to these days but I hope life it treating her well.

And I do remember Lacey. Well! Good to hear that she's doing well, too.

It is wonderful not to be rushing off to a vet every weeks with a seriously sick cat. That was a really rough patch. Poor Flatty, he had a terrible time of it. Poppy is so uncomplicated & happy with her existence. This has certainly taken a bit of getting used too, I can tell you, Misti! (Touching wood)

Hi all!

Just letting you know that I'm likely to be a bit scarce for a while. Maybe not totally vanished, but I expect not to be posting nearly as often as I have in the past. I have a lot of very important priorities in my life right now that I really must give my full attention to.
Greetings to all of you & your beautiful moggies. Very Happy

Cheers,
Olga

Damn cat. So, I brought screech in for a teeth cleaning (his first at 13). Because of the diabetes, his teeth are encased in thick plaque. Anyway, they're also going to snip out a sebaceous cyst which gets infected and bothers him. I nearly fainted when I saw the estimate - $470 to 960. I immediately nixed the chipping fee (they "offered" it. But, the cyst removal is listed as a mass removal and there is an additional fee for biopsy. It's a sebaceous cyst! Why biopsy?

<edit> I asked them to skip the biopsy. I feel guilty.
