Hi, cat people....

Wanted to share this...
I play with my cat with a toy I made out of 4 feet of elastic tied to a 3 foot stick. She loves it. She's 15, but doesn't act like it... jumping and pouncing. Well, I posted this photo on another thread....
http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/7650/img27196xn.jpg
And someone actually thought I hated cats and when I explained the photo, they replied that it's mean to torment cats! I'm shocked!

What does everyone here think?

And what do A2Kers do when someone keeps jumping to conclusions about them and posting untruths?

Hello caribou.

Nice to meet you! Very Happy

Your cat is obviously having a wonderful time! I can tell! Laughing

Since when was the 15th years a cat's life meant to mean the end of fun?

I've had cats who've delighted in fun & games & hi jinx at much older than that!

Play on! Enjoy!Very Happy

Welcome back!! Hope you had a good vacation and got some much-needed rest.

Poppy will be fine. You'll spoil her rotten, and she'll be her old self in no time.

Thank you, Roberta!

It's good to be home again.

I had a wonderful time & look disgustingly tanned & healthy.

Yes, I know Poppy will be fine. The way that she behaved at the boarding place was exactly as she behaved when I first took her in.
At least she knows now that she wasn't abandoned. Once was enough, poor little thing!

that really is a delightful picture of Dante!

Himself looked out the window and said 'I didn't know we'd got a black squirrel'

Paddy the demon cat on the bird table (evening light so sorry about the quality)

What great photos!

I was just doing some research on fisher cats, minks, american martens and wolverines. They can seem so cat-like at times. My cat was just on my lap, purring, snuggling, looking up at me so sweetly. I thought: wow, I have a little wild animal here on my lap. So tame, but one can still glimps their wild past.

Terrific photo, Vivien!
He's a devilish creature, that one! Laughing

It's just after 2pm here & Poppy has only just risen from her slumbers! Either she "needed to rest" to recover from the boarding trauma, or else she's becoming a bit of a slob. I'm not sure which, yet ......

How'd they get up there?!?!

I just read an article at the BBC. In the state of New Jersey there lives a cat named Jack. He is territorial. Apparently very territorial. And, maybe a little stoopid. He chased a bear up two different trees before being called in by his humans. The bear left the scene safely.

BBC

It's a small picture, look close.

Look at the tiny orange kitty.

I thought my old cat, Ginseng, was impressive when she would back my freind's german shepard in a corner and make her tremble. But that's nothing compared to this!
