I'm back!
... & collected Ms Poppy from the cat boarding establishment earlier in the day on the way home.
Oh dear, she didn't like it
at all! Apparently she was "extremely timid" & reclusive while there. Ate & pooed only when staff were well & truly out of sight. No desire to have
anything to do with anyone. At least they were honest about it .... they could have told fibs.
So I picked her up & she continually meowed loudly & plaintively all the way back home in my car. (A 5 minute trip)
Then, when she got home she was
so happy! .... but kept running into which-ever part of the house or yard I happened to be in at the time ....
meow, meow, meow! Just to check if I was still there. Every 5 minutes! Very vocal!
... and kept throwing herself in my path, doing flip-flops (for tummy rubs & pats) wanting reassurance. Poor little thing, she didn't cope terribly well at all with the boarding experience.
A few hours later & she's a lot more settled & happy. All is well.
