Well... you can count Cheryl and me as now officially members of the people-who-may-be-nuts-because-they-have-too-many-cats club. We had 'temporarily'taken in Princess, a feral calico with 7 newborn kittens, until we could adopt her and all the kittens out. The kittens went, but no one took Princess. Now she's buddied up with Cleo, who was formerly the only female of our 4 cats. Cheryl and I saw them hugging each other and grooming each other and said, almost simultaneously, "Guess she's our cat now."

Look at 'em, and tell me how I could get rid of Princess now...
(Princess is the one closest to the glass door)

From The LOLCat Bible:

■1. Oh hai. In teh beginnin Ceiling Cat maded teh skiez An da Urfs, but he did not eated dem. 2. Da Urfs no had shapez An haded dark face, An Ceiling Cat rode invisible bike over teh waterz. 3. At start, no has lyte. An Ceiling Cat sayz, i can haz lite? An lite wuz. 4. An Ceiling Cat sawed teh lite, to seez stuffs, An splitted teh lite from dark but taht wuz ok cuz kittehs can see in teh dark An not tripz over nethin. 5. An Ceiling Cat sayed light Day An dark no Day. It were FURST!!!

I haven't read the complete book. I can't get past "but he did not eated dem" without cracking up. Lots of the photos with captions (that you will see in emails and on youtube, etc. (Like "I has mouse.") will contain the "Ceiling Cat" manner of speech.

@snood,
Snood, you let one of the creatures in the house and feed it once, you've got yourself a new cat.

@msolga,
I used to have a spider named Princess. Maybe we need a Spider Room.

@roger,
Excellent idea, Roger!

And maybe a snake room, too? (Been checking out Boomerang's snake thread.)

I stumbled onto this cat purring video for another post.

This cat is in a desperate need for a major engine tune up! Shocked Listen to the cat's purring for some kind of errant squeaky sound.

Faulty timing belt? Is it the cat's powered steering? Something else? Do we have a cat mechanic in the house?

@tsarstepan,
Sounds like that cat may have some sort of respiratory problem, though I have heard some pretty strange sounds coming from cats that were perfectly healthy.

@tsarstepan,
Ooh! Ooh! I know what it is! The cat is mute - but someone has used a small tape of cat purring so it doesn't feel bad. The squeaky bit is the tape rewinding with the play heads down.

Miss Molly continues being the dutiful cat. Here she's checking up on the commotion
near Checkpoint Baker which tuned out to be only the Nomad working on the hedge.

And here she covers for sleeping Nekochan.
