This Christmas was a full on "Kitty Christmas" in my house.
I bought them an artificial tree with kitty friendly ornaments. (no glass, lead paint or otherwise harmful materials) and decorated it with the intention that the kitties would spend a good portion of their time trying to knock it over. The base of the tree prevented them from knocking it over, but I did manage to figure out which ornaments were their favs. One ornament in particular was quite popular, a "Hedwig" from Harry Potter (a stuffed white owl) My sugar kitty would seek it out no matter how many times I put it back up near the top of the 6 foot tree. She would climb up it's center and knock the owl a good one till it flew out onto the floor!
I also bought them TWO kitty condo towers.

I got one on sale at Petmart ($40.00 off) and another from a street salesman who was ready to go home at the end of the day and didn't want to schelp the largest one back. (paid $100 cash for a retail price item of $180- Yay!) Anyway, even my older two kitties have been running up and down the towers and playing 'king of the hill'.
The other day, I bought some fresh organic cat nip and a squirrel that has a velcro opening in it's tummy for the cat nip. I must tell you, each of the kitties have been trying to hide the squirell from the others. At one point, the skittish black kitty was carrying the squirell around in her mouth, meowing and cooing and tearing it's tail to get at the nip.
Hilarity ensued yesterday when I was sitting at my computer desk, with Wiley in a basket on top of my hutch...she actually spit out a piece of the squirell at me and it landed on my keyboard by my hand. "Splut!" - Yes, this was her way of telling me..."It's out of NIP, mom!"
