@farmerman,
EHN! I know exactly what you mean by your "Some Old Drunk" photos.

I was completely ignorant (here in FL) of the Maine Coon adorableness until I adopted Happy, at 8 weeks old, not knowing he was a Maine Coon.
Since then I have utterly fallen in love with this "breed" (Happy's no doubt a half-breed or mix).

And for anyone who doesn't know it already, poufffy/long-haired cats are automatically protected by their thick fur from both Cold and Heat.

So, please do NOT have your Medium/Long-Haired Cat shaved in the summer!

Cats who live in the South all year long, like Happy, are already adapted to the high heat and humidity. A simple window-fan and plenty of fresh water... NO fur-shaving, will ensure your long-haired cat is happy and healthy in the heat.

@sozobe,
Hi soz

I got to see a bit of it, but gave up in frustration. Dial-up! Rolling Eyes
Not long till I'm on broadband & this'll be one of my many catch up must sees!

(I got as far as the spilled coffee ... Loved what I saw, even in stop n start mode! Smile )

@msolga,
Oh, poor msolga kitten! I simply adore Simon's Cat videos; I think you will too.

I just went back, after Soz's post, and watched virtually ALL of them, laughing aloud at each one.

@msolga,
So, I'll be the only one left on dial up?

I actually let it load. You can minimize the screen, and then load a2k, or anything else in a separate screen. The delay is still agonizing, but it can be done. Did you get to the part where cat hides under the newspaper and goes through all the feet planting and quivering before the big pounce? That was every cat I've ever known, including the ferals I used to feed at work.

I still haven't been able to catch the other two with the camera.

@Aldistar,
Maybe I should rename Spooky. Call him Rainbow - you know, the eight hour loaf.

Could be, roger.

I'm going to wait till broadband. It's way, way too frustrating an exprerience on dial-up. I have tried.

@Aldistar,
Finally, more Loaf/Boats! I just can't help but smile whenever I see a cat Boating!

I love that "I Am Not Amused" look; it's so very Cat-like to me.

And that fluffy orange-tabby person looks like he/she stuck his nose in something sorta rust-colored, and it stained. SO Cute!

@BorisKitten,
Tabbie is a large 16 lb. HE. Yes, I have always loved his nose, it's like he stuck his nose in orange paint.

@Aldistar,
OMG, that's just too adorable! The giant Fuzz-Bomb all Nipped-Out... how can I not smile? (And I had a crappy day, too.)

And that DOES look like an intentional Snort o' Nip! "I Have Hands!"
