@dlowan,
A bloody point? Such as the end of a lance which has just skewered a wabtit?

No, a point to your derogatory remark about this thread. Poor thread!

What's it ever done to you?

Also, what is a wabtit?

By the way, this is a digression thread--anything may be said, including an inquiry as to whether or not the thread has reached its best-before date.

@Setanta,
A raccoon, a bear, and a rabbi go into a bar. I forgot the rest.

Isn't that supposed to be a priest, a Babdist minister and a rabbit go into a bar?

Aren't there some rules somewhere? I'm sure I recall some rules....

@dlowan,
The only rule is to never be off topic.

@dlowan,
I don't remember any rules except an underlying one, to digress..

I'll make one up: to digress is best if a tangent point can be located,
(or something like that)

I don't know what I'm talking about, remember nothing from trig class.

@dlowan,
If there were rules, it wouldn't be a digression thread . . . but . . . i digress . . .

@Setanta,
Yes it would. A rule was to digress. Which I just didn't.

As to the Marquess of Queensbury rules, it has always struck me as odd to make rules about killing or hurting people.

Not rules that one shouldn't but rules about how you can do it if you are going to.

Or perhaps it's not odd for a violent species to attempt to impose rules about it.
