@Lash,
It's nice to read that you might be sorta considering like dating without a goal.

The Spanishes sound very encouraging - and the pleasure you're having in the classroom is wonderful to read about. Go and teach. It'll be good for you. Joy is good.

@Lash,
Victor! He… pursued me…(I’m laughing!), no, he really did and I declined a date repeatedly until one day I accepted. He became my love " I moved in with him for a while, but the madness of the times and a deep need for what I considered my nice, conservative, safe Ontario was too much for us. I left. Victor could pick up a heavy bar stool, one of those metal jobs with the leather seats that swivel…. with his…(laughing uncontrollably -- I’m teary).

Enough.

He was a damned fine guy. From Nicaragua. And he’s the reason, my Mariposa, I could still get us directions to the bathroom and politely order us cold water or beer.

LMAO---Mr 29 Year Old Guy is going to Thanksgiving with me. Plan HOT weekend of unrepentant sexual activity. (smiling like Cheshire cat) He's four years older than my son....who I fully expect to come over the table and beat Mr 29 with a turkey leg if he looks at me funny during dinner. Ahhhh...my Uncle in the Briefcase would be proud of me. Fomenting melees at family events...just like old times....

TAPP has altered. They don't have enough need for English teachers...they want Math, Science, Spec Ed... So, subbing for groceries, going to grad school....hoping teeth hold for another year. haha.

Hi. This is BETTER! I've had several dates with several different guys....had FUN! Catching great live music...meeting loads of cool people. Seems I've worked out a very casual thing with Mr 29...and I'm cool about it. (grinning) This is quite a departure from the way I usually do things....and it seems like that's a good thing.

(laughing) It appears that I'm going to be graduating in a week or so.

(wow!)

Then, subbing til grad school in July.

(I'm really smiling)

Thanks goils-- for being there for me. Can't tell you how much I appreciate you all.

@Lash,
I wonder if you're dating anyone I know..... curious.

What bands have you been seeing? What clubs do you frequent?

@ehBeth,
Rummaging through my over the top hats..

Back on exploration.

I did this, more than a year (I could analyze myself but never mind).

Got either busy or bored, both, I think, and stepped back for another year. Then met husband, too young, sexy, terrific mind.

This was all after my recommended time by self, phoooh to me in my recommendations to others, at least as any palliative. I did have time to self in those months before hub.

And, of course, time after, time later.

I think of it all as a long song of life.

Sorry, I can't concentrate, I'm listening to Fabrizio de Andre and "Geordie" nice and loud.

@Lash,
I just bought too many hats at an outlet. Today I wore a large-brimmed acid green wool hat with mmmm unconnected black velvet bands going around the top. Too much fun. I wanted to wear it at my desk. Didn't. They don't know me well enough yet Laughing
