There's a new band I saw Lingo---a bunch of kids from Marietta...went to Zuffy's in ATL...there was a benefit for a guy named Barry...lung cancer and some musicians put it together for him. The Fly Brothers, Lefty Williams, Moon Goddess Cotillion, The Brothers Gore,...and along that theme, The Brothers Marler...Will Hoge came to town, Cloak and Dagger Dating Service (love them...punk)... I go to Tasty World, New Caledonia, Little Kings...still haven't gone to 40 Watt, which is absurd, I know. Farm 255 has good live music outside in good weather...The Hot Corner is where I met the Appalachian duo Jeff and Benaris... Love Flicker...but couldn't tell you who I saw...random bands...

Beth---I think just seeing your clothes and hats would be a party! I'm coming to visit one day and will spend an entire day playing in your closet!!!

Smiling so big!!! The thought of hanging with the goils is making me quake! I know it will be a while before I can afford the trip...but it is high on my First Trip as a Graduate Priority List. It will happen. (giggling)

PEGGED! I was married at 18...and it was a pretty rough haul. (grinning) I am having a blast.

I went out to the Georgia Theatre last night...heard my new favorite band...met their manager, publicist....a woman my age... (finally, starting to meet local people that I have something in common with...this is what I've been waiting for...my friendships, not tied to a guy...just ME. woooo hooooo!!!) The bands know me...which is cool as hell.

I HAVE sorta relied on the men in my life to buffer/carry me a bit due, I think, to a moderate social retardation... But, I'm getting better. (grin)

Meanwhile,...things are all swimmy with the BoyToy. Jesus Harold Christ! Thanks Izzie and Freeduck! I am having such a blast. Went out with Blues Date Guy Saturday night...hung with the band...met so many people!!!! (A woman asked me to dance and gave me her email address!!!! OMG! This one guy pulled me out on the dance floor and started trying to jerk my jacket off... (shakes head laughing) ..and Boy Toy was texting me all night...it was so funny,...I had so much to drink, I had to get other people to read my texts...giggling) Was blind.
