Is the "Holy Spirit" male or female?

Of course air can be seen, and felt, and analysed, and missed when its not there, so I do know it exists. Unfortuantly the same cannot be said for God

What is the Holy Spirit? I always thought that it was just a feeling of holiness. Like a spirit of comfort that God is here with us and in our presence. When the Bible talks about denying the Holy Spirit, I don't get it. What even is it?

Holy Spirit is SPIRIT. Demons - spirits too. Reed messages of abduction victims. Grey aliens (ghosts) not male, not female.

It's being presence is that of the Father's and the image or reflection of it's image is that of Jesus Christ's...

It is a Spirit, it isn't defined by genders....

But in case anyone wants to break this down even more...I will give you the most logical way of thinking about this...

If The Christian God is of 3, and 2 of the 3 are male, Jesus, And The Father...Than it is inconceivably impossible for the Holy Spirit to be a pure female....Sorry to burst some bubbles here...or the Spirit would have to be at least 2/3rds male...since any Christian believes there are no divisions amongst God...You would have to believe that if the Spirit had a gender it would be male...but like I said it is the Spirit, So it is a spirit, and not defined by gender...Interesting posts though!!!

Christ refers to the Holy Spirit as He.

The answer is in the actions of the son of man.Whoever follows the teaching of the son of man and walks in the ways of the Lord, doing His will and His righteous works, he will hear Gods words and see His face.

Thus says the Lord; "Keep the ways of the Lord by doing what is right and just."

"Let your heart hold fast to my words, keep my commands so you will live".

"Faithfulness has disappeared, the word of God is gone from their speech".

"No one acts righteously, no one speaks truthfully, They refuse to recognize me."

"Speak the truth to one another , judge righteously and let honesty and peace be at your gate."

"Sow justice for yourself and reap the fruits of piety."

The work of God is this, having faith in the One he sent.

I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.

Whoever chooses to do his will shall know about this teaching namely, whether it comes from God or whether I‘m speaking on my own.

I am the light of the world. No one who follows me will ever walk in darkness, cause he will possess the light of life. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where he is going. Once you have the light, keep faith in the light, and you will become a child of light.

I am son of man.

Both men and women are same infront of the god.

Surely we have wondered how it might be possible that God could be a kajillion miles away and still retain the ability to know what is happening on earth in real time.

The language of Genesis 1:2 suggests the holy spirit is God's active force.

xxxThe milk is about 3 to 4 years long, and in that time you should know that the Holy Spirit is in you. There are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit and you will receive one or more of them gifts as evidence that the Holy Spirit is in you. Then when you are sure, the Holy Spirit will take you into the meat of the Word one verse at a time. You should know what love is by this time. The milk took you to love and the Holy Spirit. Now the Holy Spirit will lead you with that love as the first step in the meat. And the Holy Spirit will lead you inside yourself with that love, to crucify the flesh(feelings & emotions)(unclean spirits). And this should last for atleast 11 years.

There are many languages in the world. Doctors have one, lawyers have one, intellectuals have one, common people have one. Seeing that the only guaranteed message in the bible comes from the Holy Spirit. So to guard that guarantee He even uses a special language. And the Holy Spirit only quotes verses, He explains verses with other verses. There are spirits in us trying to deceive us and they all speak the same language carnal. So we can discern the Holy Spirit He quotes verses. Now this is the meat understanding of the Word. The milk understanding is done with the carnal language, the meat understanding is done with only verses. Its an unknown tongue to the carnal mind.

We might note that in the Hebrew language, in which the Old Testament was written, the word translated "spirit," ruach, is referred to with feminine pronouns. But the Holy Spirit clearly is not female or a woman. In Greek, both masculine and neuter words are used to refer to the Holy Spirit.

Stephen is given a vision of heaven, and looking in he see's God and Jesus at his right hand... but no holy spirit. If the holy spirit is a person, and if he is really the 3rd person of the trinity, then surely Stephen would have seen 3 individuals in heaven. But no, he sees only Jesus and Jehovah.

READ VERSE 55 It says Stephen is filled with holy spirit.Angels do not possess God's people.It is God's active force.

Well the Holy Spirit is NOT the third person of the trinity. The trinity doctrine is false. Stephen seen God and Jesus but he didn't see any angels. And the Holy Spirit is an assigned angel..
